    Well guys,

I leave TOMORROW! Wow, I can't believe it! Yesterday was the first day I woke up with butterflies thinking about it! We are catching the 3:00 am shuttle from a hotel about 5 minutes from our house. My kids want to go along to see me off, so that'll be interesting for them to be up in the middle of the night! It'll be hard to leave my family there though, I'm going to want to grab'em all and take'em with me! I'll probably shed a few tears on the way to the airport! They are going to go camping for a few days, and grandma is going to come stay with them, plus I will be busy with everything, so I'm hoping we'll all be fine while we're apart! My dd is very sad and tells me everyday how much she'll miss me! I reminded her of all they will be doing, and how much fun they'll be having, and that when I get back she'll have been so busy that she'll say, You're back ALREADY? :D

I'm pretty much all packed. I'm probably taking too much, but I'm just not sure what I'll need, ya know? But that's okay, it all seems to fit and come in under the 50 pound limit! I was able to fit in the stuff we got at the dollar store for the kids in Africa with no problem--pretty much took up a whole suitcase though! Unless I buy a lot of souvenirs, my suitcases will be fairly empty on the way home!

I never did hear from the orphanage, so I am taking the contact info. from their site, and we'll try to contact them when we get there. We're hoping that some of the people there that we'll be working with (interpreters, etc.) will know about it, or at least be able to help us contact them! (When I'm saying "we", I'm talking about me and the lady from our church that is going with me.)

Today I figure out how to pack the cameras--digital and video, go through paperwork and finalize what I need to take, finish packing, and stuff like that.

At church, our pastor called my friend and I up, said that we were leaving Monday, and asked whoever wanted to to come up and lay hands on us and pray for us. Pretty much everybody but the visitors came up! That was VERY special! Then they all commited to praying for us each day at noon! Isn't that awesome?! We'll be about 11 or 12 hours difference there (from the time here on the west coast anyway), so we'll be covered in prayer while we sleep. Just think how good we'll feel when we wake up!

I will miss you all while I'm gone! But it will be exciting to see what all God has in store for us on this trip! Please keep us in your prayers! BTW, my friend's name is Dolores. I'll be checking another time or two today for any last-minute messages.

Love to all of you special ladies!!! "See" you when I get back!

No, no, no Jackie. We'll be flying to New York, and can't stop at Port Columbus Airport. But we're detouring a bit to pick you up. We'll just hang the bungee down, and you'll have to grab onto it as we fly over. Okay?

We leave home in 4 hours to go catch the shuttle! Amazing that the time is actually here now! Thankyou for your thoughts and prayers, May God bless each one of you greatly! I look forward to hearing what all has happened while I was gone, and to sharing with you what happened on my trip. I know God is blessing---I could almost write a book already, and I haven't even left yet! This is just so awesome! You all have got to try it sometime! :D

Love to all of you!
