    I love brag posts! I like knowing other people are happy and proud of their children/family.

    Kris, you aren't a complainer! We all have venting statuses. But I try to throw in happy things too! I do brag on my kids because they are great! Actually, I rarely update my status, because life here is pretty boring!

    I know several people who are just negative people (in my perspective) but while a good portion of their status updates may be negative, they still manage to have some possitive (or at least neutral) status updates. It is not that hard to find something other than negativity to post! "Got the lawn mowed today" or "saw the cutest puppy on my way to work" don't require that much effort. People who are consistantly negative are choosing to be that way and in my opinion, just asking for sympathy.

    I would have to say you are right, and obviously these people *know* they are being that way if they are responding to you in such a way.
