If anyone wants I have put together a schedule of readers, read aloud books and then MOH 1 (and part of 2) along with Usborne Encyclopedia of World History and Story of the World.
I only have the start of volume 2 done (1st quarter I think). I am working on the rest of it now. Jackie are you doing volume 2 right now?
Jackie are you doing Volume 3 next year? Next year I plan to finish Volume 2 and start 3. So I could get you what I do for Volume 3 in a couple of months (I work on it during our co-op which starts in a few weeks)
We're half-way through Vol. 2 (second time around for Phillip, as he was very young when I did it with my girls!) And to be quite honest, we've not opened the book since October. He was being a pain about Biology, and we really needed to catch up on that. Plus, we were dealing with moving my aunt into Assisted Living, and my mil's failing health (she passed away the end of October). We're now clearing out and moving into her house. So dh and I were just discussing history last night. He says we should just chuck the history this year, and pick it up next year. Faythe still needs a high school American History credit, and Phillip will be high school next year (OH!!! NO WAY!!! NOT MY BABY!!! ) so we may switch to American. IDK. I know it will all work out EVENTUALLY! But I would love to see what you have for Vol. 3. We made a Renaissance Journal for it. I'll try to scan some of it to show you. I was frustrated with the lack of neatness, but the idea was good. We would write the name of the artist and the time frame for him and where he was from, and then get on-line to copy and paste some of his works. So we'd have one page for most, but with Michelangelo, we had a page for sculpture and one for painting. Da Vinci had a page for inventions, tool.
