What's the weirdest thing you have eaten?

Mine is probably the peanutbutter, jam, pickles, onion, cheddar cheese, and potato chip sandwiches I ate when I was in college. I LOVED them!

I recently ate llama chili and buffalo chili. We had a chili cook-off at church, and two guys made it with exotic meat. The buffalo was OK. The llama had a cinnamon-y taste. Weird!

Deena and Kris have me beat! I think I'd vomit, just looking at those sandwiches you girls have eaten!

Beth I was laughing so hard on that one. I have to say some of my in-laws cooking is not for me.

I eat a lot of sushi so I eat:

    eel
    sea urchin
    shrimp heads ( deep fried)
    octopus (raw)
roe ( salmon, tuna, many others)

    I have also eaten:

    frog legs
    snails
    alligator
    bison ( love it)
    snake

Hmmm... right now I could live on dill pickle, white american cheese and mayo sandwhiches and rootbeer

My mom used to make cream cheese and dill pickle on rye sandwhiches all the time, and they sound good to me right now too.

Crystal, I don't do sushi... but have eaten most of the other things you have.

I hated alligator, it's tough and not good..lol

I have also eaten bear, shark, squid and cray fish (or crawdads as we called them in Nevada).

I have a funny frog leg story...

We were at a Chinese buffet a while back and I had seen there were frog legs there. I came back.. with out any, because I don't like them, soon Garrett comes back with them. Hubby and I just look at each other, Garrett is mowing these things down.. and goes back for more! Hubby and I are dying while he's gone. He comes back and I said you like that stuff? He said "Yes mom, I never tried Peiking Pork before, but it's really good"... I laughed sooooo hard, so loud that there were quite a few people staring at me..lol. The little sign thinggy wasn't quite where it should have been, so he had no clue. We still ask him all the time if he wants some Peiking Pork..lol.

Maybe your MIL and hubby's one grandmother should have a cookoff. That woman mixes the strangest things together that I'm afraid to eat there!

One serving of scalloped potatoes with red beets mixed in was enough to never trust what she was mixing together.

I like potato chips on my pb & j sandwiches. A girl I babysat for thought it was weird. Now that's how she eats it.

I love homemade ice cream with pretzels.

I used to love chips with ketchup. I can still eat the baked ones with ketchup. My kids think I am strange.
My mother in law is gone now and seriously she was a good cook just did some very strange things. Once it was cinnamon toast with chili powder instead of cinnamon. I do not recommend it!!!

Wow you ladies are nuttier than a fruitcake!!!! LOL!

I can't even come close to winning this contest. I like sushi and have eaten Bison burgers which by the way are awesome.

Anyone watch Man vs. Wild? I saw the dude bite into a live snake! Just picked it up out of the Louisiana swamp ALIVE and took a big nasty bite out of it!!!

When I was a little girl my brothers talked me into eating a dog biscuit and a worm (not at the same time).

    I have also eaten:

frog's legs, alligator, rattle snake, bison, snails, and chocolate covered cricket.

Well I have eaten many of the things already posted:

alligator (crazymomma-try it again! If it is cooked correctly it shouldn't be tough at all and is similar in taste to chicken but I think it is closer to rabbit.)
    bison
    squab
goat (accidently--I thought it was beef!)
    snails
    eel
    squid
octopus (but mine was cooked! LOL!)

But I think the actual weirdest thing I have ever eaten is back in High School -- I loved dill pickles
dipped in whipped cream! I'm not even sure why I would have tried it but I ate it all the time. My favorite sandwich back then was squishy white bread, butter, mustard, bologna, and funyuns---although I'm not sure how weird that really is.

I think the weirdest thing I have eaten is tripe, cow tongue, pig snout and feet. Usually these are added to Menudo and Pozole with the exception of the tongue.

As a child I ate moist dog food. It smelled so good and tasted fine at first. Then the gross after taste hit me and I started gagging and had to throw up.
