Elevations as low as 1,000 ft. received snow yesterday and we received nothing!
I really want to make a snowman before spring arrives.
I guess the storm is everywhere in Southern California, except here.

Patty, I think you are in the wrong part of the country for snowman right now. LOL

The weather is really different this year. All the south states are getting hit hard and the snow states aren't getting anything.

Right now it is 34 with a wind chill of 27. We have baby icicles hanging from the edge of my roof. I warned the kids that we would pay for the gorgeous weather we had been having!

It's another mild day in Lake Wales. A little overcast and currently 70 degrees. There is a nice breeze.

I know my brain is solar powered! I suffer from the lack of sunlight during periods of cloudy gray weather. I am not kidding. I love sunshine!

Cold and cloudy here today but no ice like the weather man had predicted. I am so thankful for that.

It was sunny here yesterday, despite the weather forecast, but it is cloudy again today. And, like Kris said, it is supposed to rain rain rain all week. Bleah. I teach 2 year old Sunday school, and they were a group of little hooligans yesterday! I've never had so many little bunnies in time out before! (And it wasn't just me.. the teachers at 9:30 had the same problem. Whew!) I think they were just a little stir crazy because the weather has been bad all week and this was the first time they went OUT. At least they probably took very good naps for their moms in the afternoon!

Still really warm here in central FL. It's supposed to hit 85 today. Right now it's 75 and sunny. Here's hoping all your cold weather goes away sooner rather than later.

It was such a nice day yesterday - cool but sunny. Today not so much. Cloudy and still pretty cold by Texas standards.

It warmed up enough to rain Friday evening, then overnight it froze, so made for icy conditions Saturday morning.

It's in the low 40's now, cloudy and windy.

Deena, I don't mind the snow, it's the ice that causes so many accidents. We had an accident last week where it was icy and a mom slid off the road. She was not injured very badly, but her baby died. So sad for that family.

Oh man G-ma, that's sooo sad! I'll send up a prayer for that family!

Yeah, I don't like ice either! After our last snow it turned to ice and lasted almost two weeks! Yuck!

We have a hill we go down (then up! ;) ) often. We HAD to get to an appointment, so we were on our way. THere were quite a few cars going down the hill, and everyone was going very slowly! THe lady driving the SUV behind our vehicle was right on my tail, and I had just told my kids what poor judgement that was in icy conditions, when the cars in front of us slowed down even more. So I put on my brakes, and the lady behind us came within a couple of inches of running into the back of us! I could see her coming, but there was nothing I could do! I could see her face, and she was scared too! After that she stayed about 20 car lengths behind!

Those of you that still have snow and ice, DRIVE CAREFULLY OUT THERE!

Pray for the snow plow drivers too. My dh said that people are crazy in those kind of conditions. Please don't pull out in front of them. They have very heavy loads on and it is hard to stop. You don't want them to run into you - you will get hurt. My dh was plowing about 2:00 am a couple of years ago, he was backing up in the street - a drunk run right into the side of him. When my dh got out of his truck, to see if he ok - he was bleeding, but not hurt too bad. My dh had to go to court a month later for the accident, they called and told him not to show up, the driver (drunk) was in jail for another drunk driving charge. Just wanted to ask for prayer for the snow plow drivers too.
