I knew that about Hugh Laurie. I am not completely ignorant of British Comedy, since my SIL is Australian and a BBC addict. I wouldn't say I'm well versed, either, though. I will never forget the first time I saw Phantom at the Pantages Theater in Toronto. When Michael Crawford sang, I cried. I was in 10th grade. And despite my inability to sing, that was the single, pinnacle moment that sealed my desire to act. I knew that if there was any possible way that I could make an audience feel even a fraction of what I felt watching him perform, I had to try.
I've found D.O.'s are as a general rule, better doctors (for my tastes) than M.D.s More into keeping you healthy and more open to natural remedies ect. My former D.O. was the only doctor in our small town that supported natural childbirth. My D.O. tried to treat my bipolar with diet and herbs before putting me on meds at my request. I have more examples but just in my experience working in the medical field and being a patient I much prefer a D.O. to an M.D. any day.
