I thought this would be interesting and bring back childhood memories!

Okay I have two - the first movie at a drive-in was ET and the first at a theater was Savannah Smiles.

okay, it was not a kids movie and I was supposed to be asleep and my parents would not have stayed, infact I am not sure they stayed whole movie cause it was double feature thing at drive in..... it was Barbarella? I have had the scene with dolls attaching her in my mind since I was 8 at the oldest!

nice one , I remember Bed nobs and broomsticks and I remember the Wilderness Family! THAT WAS AWESOME!
    Huckleberry finn too!

We had a very limited selection in a very small town! I remember watching Grease but walking out on Saturday Night Fever due to the language and I was babysitting. The one that I really remember was taking my younger sis to HER first movie and that was Annie.

This is horrible and I torment my (now Christian) parents every opportunity that arises for this one.
They took me to the drive in when I was 4 or so, but I remember playing in the floor of the back seat of the car with my toys.. Okay-- that was the set up. When I was older I heard this song. Everytime I heard it, it sparked some memory that I just couldn't fully recall. Then during a conversation someone hummed that tune. I asked what it was from, because I had remembered it from my childhood. They said........DELIVERENCE!!
So I rented the movie (sorry to say) and sure enough ---The banjo song from Deliverence.
Well, I don't let my parents live that one down.
    Yep--my first movie memory!! Yikes!!

Sort of. I was afraid of sharks for a long time. Now it doesn't bother me.

Let's just say I learned from it.

My older brother and his girlfriend took me to some Burt Reynolds movie. I don't remember the name. It was rated R though, so my parents were NOT happy when they found out!

I think it was Mary Poppins. Does that make sense? That movie seems so old. It was at a drive in. I remember that The Fog was playing right next to it. lol. I am not sure how old I was.....I am 33 now. huh. Or did I see Indiana Jones before that??? I don't remember. Nah...Mary Poppins is before that. That doesn't make sense...it wan't when Mary Poppins came out. It was just played again or something....lol. Mary Poppins is before Star Wars and I think I was just born when that came out. In fact, I only remember seeing Return of the Jedi at the theater...like three weekends in a row with the neighbor kids. lol. At any rate...Mary Poppins at a drive in or Indiana Jones...one of those was my first.

wow ! How funny all our parents just thought that we were fine because we were asleep or un observant or something, sure makes you think. Our generations are more cautious and I wonder is this because I am a Christian now or would I personally have been this careful with my kids because I am me
    ??

Maybe Mary Poppins or "Lady and the Tramp", or "Cinderella" or "Old Yeller". "Thoroughly Modern Millie". "The Secret War of Walter Mitty". (The last two were at a drive-in, which is probably why I remember them!)
