This may not be much help, but I checked the used curriculum site that I use. (I've purchased many, many things there with no problems.) They have an entire page dedicated to procedures to use for complaints/fraud & a listing of complaints on their site.

Anyway, they suggest contacting the police in the seller's locality OR the FBI's Internet Fraud Complaint Center. The url is www.ifccfbi.gov. I checked the site you posted & her listing is still there. Did you try the phone number she has listed? 4064575647.

THE WEB SITE CALLED ME YESTERDAY AFTER I SENT THEM A THIRD EMAIL ABOUT THIS AGAIN EXPLAINING HOW UNHAPPY I WAS. I GOT A CALL WITHIN MINUTES OF POSTING THE EMAIL. SHE SAID SHE WAS WORKING ON IT AND BETWEEN THE 2 OF US I WAS ABLE TO GET HER ADDRESS. THE PHONE SHE HAD LISTED DOES NOT WORK. I HAVE SENT AN EMAIL THROUGH PAYPAL REQUESTING THE MONEY BACK TO ME.I ALSO INFORMED HER THAT IF THEY DON'T RETURN MY MONEY I WILL BE CONTACTING THE STATES ATTORNEYS OFFICE. I DON'T THINK IT WILL WORK BUT I AM TRYING. I ALSO FOUND OUT THE MONEY ORDER HAD BEEN CASHED MAY 27.

THE WEB SITE PERSONEL SAID THEY WHERE GOING TO REMOVE HER AD FROM THEIR SITE.
AS OF NOW THAT IS ALL I HAVE TO GO ON. I ALSO JUST FILED A COMPLAINT ON THE WEB SITE LISTED ABOVE ABOUT INTERNET FRAUD.

Good for you Amy! Hopefully your diligence will pay off. I'm so sorry you've had to go through this. It really makes it tough for the honest people.

Just an update. I received an email over the weekend. It was from and individual I had never heard of. I was a little worried but I replied. The email was from someone who had moved into a house and found a package with my name, address, and email address on it. It was a bunch of kindergarten school material. I contacted this person and asked them to send it. They just emailed back and said they would send it out in the next week Please keep your fingers crossed that this is the package I was supposed to received a couple of months ago. It is the only package I have never received. I am afraid to get my hopes up. Anyway Just wanted to post a new update. If it is the material I will let everyone know.
    Thanks,
    for all your support.

Wow! How strange is that? I'm sure it is your long lost package, not that it excuses the other party who didn't answer your questions regarding the package never arriving.

Great news! Too bad everybody isnt that honest.

My boys did some yard mowing for a lady and she gave them a bad check. My husband was so "over" dealing with this woman and the fact she tricked my kids into working for free that he gave the "Bad Check" to the district attorney's office. It is a crime in Colorado to write a check for any amount and it bounce. This was not the first time she tried to get out of paying my kids.

    One thing though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am soooooooooooo angry at this woman for taking advantage of my kids that I am having a hard time getting past it. I realize being angry is like taking poison and wishing my enemy to die, but I am so overwhelmed with anger. How do you all deal with getting over anger besides praying about it???????????????

I Am Hoping It Is The School Material. This Individual Said The Lady Moved Out And Left The Box. I Offered To Pay To Ship It To Me But She Had To Send The Books First Then I Would Send Her A Money Order Back Reimbursing Her. ( As Long As I Get The Books) .(she Told Me Not To Worry About The Shipping Fees, ) I Don't Have Any Details , She Said It Looked Like A Bunch Of Kindergarten School Materials, (which Is What I Ordered) I Am Praying That It Is The Books I Ordered. She Said She Would Email Me In A Couple Of Days To Let Me Know When She Will Have It Shipped.

    Becky,

I don't feel alone, thanks for the input. I am not upset about the money this grown woman didnt pay my children. I am upset at how she treated them and she tricked them into working for free and stole from them. She looked them in the face knowing she had no intention on paying them.

I think when my honey sent the check to the dist. attys. office it scared her because she works for the sheriff's office.

I was getting over it until her grandmother told me yesterday that she told her that she had given my boys a post dated check and they cashed it before the date.

Well for one, she gave my boys the check on the 21st, it was dated the 21st, she said to hold it until the 25th, they held it an additional day until the 26th. If it was a post dated check the dist. atty. wouldnt have taken the check for collections. In Colorado if you give some a post date check and they cash it before the date on the check and it bounces, it isnt a crime. I offered to show the grandmother a copy of the check but the grandmother said she believed me. I told the grandmother that we would be praying for her granddaughter to find her way back. And this woman is in denial.

My boys sent the woman a very nicely typed letter stating that due to payment problems including a bounced check and on the advise of our parents, we no longer wish to continue mowing your lawn. We felt that even though she did not show them even a minimal amount of repspect that they should take the high road and show her respect and professionalism in the lawn care business and inform her that they would not be coming back. I like the way they worded the letter.

Taking advantage of anyone is "BAD" but taking advantage of kids or the elderly is
"DISGUSTING". I am venting and it feels GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a crock to even ask them to hold the check!! It was grown of them to send her a professional letter like that. It's not easy for kids to understand why you have to still show respect for people like that.

Good for you for having the boys write her a letter! Sounds very professional, and, even though it usually doesn't matter to a scumball like she sounds, it lets her know that your boys are aware of the situation, etc. And I think it also helps your boys learn to deal with idiots in a more mature manner.

    Brenda and Jackie,

Thank you for your support. Jackie I like your word for the disgusting woman that cheated my boys, "crumball", that was nicer than what was rolling around my head.

I am proud of how my boys handeled the situation. I was surprised they were asked to hold the check too. When she was telling them what to do the day they mowed for her she should have told them she didnt have the money and give them the option as to whether or not they were willing to mow it for free rather than tricking them and leaving them with no choice. She was being selfish, she wanted what she wanted when she wanted and didnt care who she stepped on in which to get it.

She must have thought my boys were being raised by wolves if she thought we wouldn't get involved. Her integrity wasn't worth much, she put a price on her itegrity when she handed my boys that bad check.

Do you think selfishness is the root of all or most evil?

Amy, please be sure you're not getting tricked again. This could be the exact same woman, but pretending to be someone else. Think about it- you get your stuff, she appears to be another individual completely unrelated to the situation. You've never seen her, right? There you go. You're way too trusting and you even believed her family had whooping cough.
She'll tell you in a couple of days when she'll ship it?? Why the wait? And what's up with the email on the outside of the package?? I order plenty off the internet and I've never seen my email address on the outside of the box.
I hope you finally get your stuff and I hope you are smart enough to not pay out a red cent. If this woman says forget about shipping fees thank her kindly and let it drop. If she told you to forget about the shipping fees in an email print it out for your own protection.
