I also had comments when I was in my 20's. Carl and I knew one girl who was rather small of stature. She would actually carry her birth certificate with her, because people thought she had a fake ID!

Oh my goodness! This used to happen to me all the time when I was pregnant with our first... at 23! I mean, ALL the time. It didn't help that my hands swelled so badly that I couldn't wear my wedding rings.

Even now I have people question at what age I began having children if I already have three (they assume I'm a lot younger). I certainly take it as a compliment (unless they are being rude with me about it).

I guess there was something about the "girl's" mannerisms and speach that also made her seem young.

I was 25 when I had my oldest ds. At the time I had braces on top of looking younger than I was so I experienced a lot of dirty looks and comments about teen pregnancies. LOL

Deena, I always looked younger like that too, Since I have been married it dropped from 10 years younger to 5 years younger, my dd is told she looks 3 years younger than she is and same with ds so I told them sorry its the family traite we inherited from my mama!
When I was a senior in highschool and they had skip day I am the only senior in the class who had to bring a note from home explaining why I skipped! ( btw thats the only day i skipped after grade school)

    Oh. my. gosh.

THAT was FUNNY! And I am sorry to say it is TRUE! Just for the record I think she looked fantastic. I have a friend who homeschools her three kids and refuse to join local groups because they are the only ones homeschooled and every other member of the group are homeschoolers. So acurate!

Oh and by just FYI.........my kids are homeschoolED!!

That sounds like a fashion question.....I'd be happy to assist. Denim jumpers and culottes both should be banned. IMHO
