It's snowing out there big time!!!! Pic in #12, I cannot believe it! I don't think I have seen so much snow since moving to Texas, other than a couple trips north in the last 18 yrs. But I have never seen this much snow here!
Where abouts are you momofafew? We are getting it too! Maybe up 6" in some areas. My kids have already been out and built a snowman and I think we are going to go to the park around the corner and try some make shift sledding later. So fun! For one day that is LOL. Tomorrow I would like for it to be warm. I don't handle the cold too well. I am a N.Texan through and through!
south tx rain is getting old very fast! I need it to dry out now..... or I will not be able to get out of my house!
I am in southeastern oklahoma...and it isnt doing anything here...LOL send some of that snow up my way
Here in Houston there is nothing but rain. I was about an hour and a half NE of here last night and there was sleet. It is just cold and rainy and nasty.
I wish it would snow here! It usually snows twice during the winter around here but this year we have had an unusally warm winter. I love the snow and so do my kids. They keep asking if we can move where it snows the whole winter, not just twice. They were so disapointed when it didnt' snow this year at all. My dh grew up in NH and misses the snow too.
Uploading some updated pictures. All of our feetprint and the trails from rolling the snowman are gone. I would say we have about 4-5" on the ground right now and there is no signs of it stopping. We went down to the local park and went sledding. It was beautiful. No one had been there so it was all perfectly smooth and white.
Wow I am totally in shock from these photos. There is nothing but nasty cold rain here and it SUCKS! It has rained all stinking day and night! Those photos remind me of my christmas vacation this year.
Just watched the news. The old record for snowfall at DFW was 1.4" the new one....6.3"!!! This is truly a once in a lifetime!
Some of you know I'm in Maryland, and we have had 20 plus inches of snow twice, just days apart. Monday we might get more inches, depending on how it goes. There is about three feet of snow on our laundry room roof, and the snow in our yards is taller than Jeannie.
