i am just w of ft worth and I measured 8 inches here. I've been in tTexas my whole life and I have never seen this much snow! definitely record breaking for this area. the kids love it, the dogs love it, momma ain't so happy with it.
I measured 8" this morning and my dad said they had 12. We live in a new house and the tree in the front yard isnt established yet so is bending under the weight of the snow. We will also be replacing the trampoline net. It's pretty but to be honest I am over it. I am not really looking forward to the 5-6 times of dressing and undressing the kids so that they can go play in it, but I cant say no can I!
We're SW of Ft. Worth, and we got 8 inches here. We're about to go enjoy a family snowball fight before it all melts away.
I know you guys who are getting the big snow storms are laughing at our mere 12" but this LITERALLY has never happened here. This is an incredible site for N.Texas and my kids will most likely never see it again and neither will I.
Now I am curious..what are you doing? Maybe we can try it. But I am guessing the show will be gone by tomorrow.
