Crystal, very well said. We all do judge, Christian or non Christian. With all the years I traveled with dh work, I have seen it alot. In Christian groups too. It is just human nature.
I also agree, why pay someone off if you are not quilty. To stop the talk on tv and news NO. Fight if you are right and they wrong.
    Way to go Crystal.

I don't know if MJ is guilty or not, but I do know that sometimes it's easier (and cheaper) to pay someone off than it is to fight them in court. It happens all the time. So having paid them off to me is NOT an admission of guilt in any way.

Oh, I just assumed it was a Christian website after reading the blue sentence at the top of the page:

Welcome! Join our discussions about curriculum, lessons and activities, homeschool resources, family, Christian issues, news, and other topics relevant to homeschooling.

I assumed if it was not a Christian website, there would have been sections dedicated to other religions as well (i.e. Muslim issues). Also, I never said non-Christians aren't welcome to a what I thought was a Christian forum... the thought never even crossed my mind.

As far as the judging, just because people do it, does not make it right. Everyone is a sinner, right? I can't then say, "well everyone does it, so I do and am not ashamed". We should be ashamed anytime we sin and work on it. Just because it may be human nature does not make it right. Anyway, I don't want to offend anyone, so I will keep it at that.

    God bless all of you!

I think the "Christian issues" might have come from a specific request. For example, we also have a good number of Catholic folk on here (no, I am NOT saying that Catholics are not Christian, just finding a "group" here!). tIf they felt they had some issues specific to homeschooling in a Catholic home, I'm sure they could ask Amanda for a forum specifically on that. Or a working moms forum, if we had a large group of them. But that wouldn't mean it the whole board was bent that way.

I felt terrible, He really is a great singer and dancer. I've thought about him being a creep, but ya know what, right now he is dead and 3 little children and other family members are so very sad.

And who knows what kind of person he REALLY is? No one is going to know for sure. He always said that he would have never molested a child he just thought they needed to be loved and cuddled. Weird? Yes, but who really knows.
