After I chipped & chopped, my dd & I went to a beauty school with some other mom-daughter hs friends & had it evened-out professionally. Some of the others did: a facial, pedicure, manicure, make-up, & a layered chip with thick, long hair (that was for my dd). It was a fun mom-dd day! The second picture shows the length I ended up with. It feels short to me! BTW, that smashing man I'm lookin' at is my fine husband! He's mine! No one get any ideas!:) He's all mine!:)

I love your hair and your pictures!!!!:D
My sister is a cosmetologist so she does my hair. Thank God because one time I butchered my hair and had to cut it very short.

Handsome bought me a video camera/digital camera so as soon as I figure out how to use it properly, I will post some pictures of us. I can't wait.

My hair is curly, so all I do in the morning is fluff it up, and pull it back if I won't to. After I wash it, I brush it out, put on gel, and let it dry. The HARD part about my hair is that I have to blow dry my bangs which takes me a whole 30 seconds or so! :D When my hair was long, it was harder, cuz there were more tangles, and I don't look that great with my hair pulled back, but I could stand it forward in my face either! :) So the shorter do is workin' fer me!

Deena, My sister has very curly, thick hair and years ago when curly perms were so popular nobody believed hers was natural. She wore it long for a few years and total strangers would come up and asked who did her perm. She wears it short now and loves it. Mine is thin and straight as a poker.

My hair is thin, and when I was young it was completely straight---wouldn't hold a curl worth beans! Then puberty hit, and starting with frizzies near my temple, it spread until all my hair was curly. It's still thin, but the curls make it look thicker. I have had people ask me that too. "Where'd you get that perm?" "Ummm, in the womb?" :D

Looks great! Love it! I had hair down the middle of my back and cut it above my shoulders. I have curly hair, so it really appeared short. Ever since, I get my hair cut above my shoulders and then regret it. So, I let it grow past my shoulders again and then feel the need to cut it. And the cycle continues........lol. Right now it is about the middle of my back. I hardly ever get my hair done...so I think it may be time again. I have curly thick hair, so it always looks the same...so I don't need to get it done often. Thank goodness, too, I could never keep up with getting my hair done more than twice a year. lol

Deena my hair is more and more natural curls, it was straight untill I had kids and or all the perms I have had over the years, the hair lady now tells me its natural as i stopped having perms. I have been pulling it back straight for a while but I am wanting my full curls back so am hoping to get another perm fast! I want easy to do hair for surgery recoup, plus we have neices wedding to go to and it would be easier for me if it is curles again!

Yes, Jackie, it takes a little more time to keep my hair looking half-way presentable when it's short, because it is so straight, thin, & fine. (I sometimes perm it.) When it was longer, I only curled the bangs & wore the rest long, with the sides clipped up, like in this picture, or wore it all up in a bun. Thank you, dear ones, for the kind words you said! That gave me courage to post another picture! This one, taken one yr ago, includes the--ahem--cutest, sweetest grandbaby in the whole world!

Leslie, my dd (15) transferred the pictures from our digital camera onto the computer, then to a free internet site, called, photobucket.com & then put the url link in my post. She also helped me take a picture of a picture for my profile. (It's fuzzy. My MFH--mighty fine husband--& I are trying to learn all we can from our students before they graduate, so we can do some of this stuff ourselves.) I hope this is helpful. I'm eager to see your pictures!

My hair was curly as a baby, all the way up until my first few major hair cuts. Then it went straight until I reached my early twenties. It has since started to curl again. They are not tight except in the nap of the neck and around my bangs. My dads hair was the same. Now he has very tight curls. I am thinking mine is in the process of doing the same. Being that my hair is long, I can wear it natural or straighten it. It is becoming more difficult, as time goes by, to straighten and I have thought of cutting it but Handsome likes it long so I leave it.
Emma's hair is starting to curl as well. I think she will be a curly top by the time she is in her middle teens.

I have never liked my hair - it isn't straight and it isn't curly. It's thin and it looks terrible - long or short. I just do the best I can. I am envious of all you that have such nice hair and don't have to do to much to it to look nice:) My dgd hair is the same as mine - thin, and more shaggy than curly - poor thing - her mother has beautiful hair - maybe dgd will grow into her mothers hair. :)
