I love my Dyson. I have allergies and it has washable hepa filters that work awesome, and it is a canister, but it empties SO easy and great and I don't get one ounce of dirt on me at all. It has all the basic attachments on board, which is an absolute must to me, and it sucks like no tomorrow. I think the thing is great... I vacuum everything with it and I am not kidding... the walls, the floors, the ceilings, the curtains, the furniture... everything. We have three pets and two kids and I was tired of messing with the cheap model from Walmart. It just didn't do the job.
Staying6 I totally agree! I love everything about it. I have a kirby at home and I like that machine also but my favorite thing or should I say things is the on board attachments and the ability to see how mfuch dirt I am really getting and WOW does it suck! I vacuumed my dd's belly yesterday and was she surprised. It has a little more power than my bissel. I too think it's great!

Look in your local phone book for a vacuum repair shop. A lot of times they will sell refurbished machines for less than you could get it new. Teacher Mom I hope your machine arrives soon!
ya it was less than 50! I hope so too! Man my carpets need it and I have inlaws and out of town guests coming in not this but next week! YIKES! OH and that site Iposted up there has all kinds of bags maybe the person who was saying her hoover needs bags can find hers there? 5.99 a package sounded good to me!
