I have several charities that I strongly believe in and would love to support financially. I would also secure my children's college education.

What is your favorite stage of childhood? I know some of us have not experienced every stage with our children, but I'd love to know your thoughts.

That is a very hard question. I have enjoyed every stage with my kids....wait...except 3..that was a bad age. However, I have to say that 1-2 years is one of my favorites...Just pure joy and laughter. They may cry and all but for the most part the days are full of wonder and laughs.

What is the quality you think is the most important to look for in a husband?

A man after God's own heart! Thats what I looked for and got! I forwent a man with a motor cycle but got one with the Love of the Lord and one who tries to live a life pleasing to Him!

Where do you think your daughters should find thier husband? (I prayed for God to bring me mine and he did, half way around the world! )

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

This is the honest truth. I wanted to be a mom. I have always loved children and couldn't be happier with my chosen profession.

Did anyone else grow up to be what they thought they would be when they were a kid?

Timkelmom....when I asked that question, I was thinking...."now watch some goofball is going to say a homeschooling mom!"...guess you are my goofball. (I mean that with the utmost respect as my home if full of goofballs, some that even bounce..lol)

I did not turn out to be anything like I thought I would. I am very grateful for that but it is the truth. I wanted to be a detective. lol.

I didn't see a question in the last post so I guess I answer the one above it?
I turned out to be exactly what I wanted to be. A stay at home full time down in the trenches mother. My mother wanted me to be a nurse. Sorry Mama.

How many children did you or do you imagine yourself with? I thought we would have two at the most. Ended up with 7!

Watch her children make the same mistakes she did and knowing that she can't tell them and make a difference, that they will have to learn for themselves.

Do you plan your children's weddings in your head?

I have to answer this even though its out of turn! I DID!
I wanted to be a Teacher--- go figure God called me to teach! from when I was 5 yrs old I decided I wanted to teach. Had plans for going to college but had kids and now I teach them! I also have taught at preschools, private schools and Kindergarden class as a Sub!

And now the best advice I would give them is always to do waht God would have you do and remember He is always with you in every relationship whether it be just friends or romantic relationship He is there with you... everywhere!
I would tell them that they should never be friends with someoen who does not bring out the good in them, as aposed to the bad.

What would you do if you started remodling your windows and found out you needed to rip out a couple of walls?

<SIGH> Not sure about windows but I will be facing this in the coming months when I go to replace the front door - it has a side light and the one that is in there right now is rotten... the kitchen floor isn't much better because of all the moisture from the front door... and so to answer that... do a lot of praying before hand that it doesn't become too big of a deal.

What would your dream job be?

Amazing Race! Looks like such a challenging fun show! Sign me up, unless Extreme HOme Makeover is considered a reality show then I want that one first! I think we have mold or black mold in our bathroom walls from before we lived here 13 yrs!

If you could eat anything and not gain an oz or rot your teeth or any of that bad stuff what would you eat?

I'll answer this: WAIT, and follow God's leading!!!

"If you drive any where in the world where would you go?" (from Kris)

That's a tough one---maybe Europe or travel around the good ol' USA!

If you had one phone call to make (not that you'd ever be in this situation!!!), who would you call?

My husband and I would have him call my sister.

Do you want your grown kids to live close so you can see them often or far away so you can have nice long visits/vacations with them?
