They got back to me today! So I wasn't seeing things, lol! Here's what they said (Quote):

This is from our old site...Glad you're Crockin' with us:

    CINNAMON FRENCH TOAST-CROCK POT STYLE
    1 whole loaf of bread
    1 dozen eggs
    2 tsp vanilla
4 cups of milk (1 used 2 cups of skim, and 2 cups of heavy cream)
    1/4 t salt
    2 t cinnamon
    1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup walnuts, or other desired nuts (optional).
    The Directions.
Grease the inside of your crock pot (5-6 qt) very well with butter, shortening, or cooking spray. Slice your bread into large slices (if it’s already sliced, just dump it in) and place the bread into the crock pot.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla together. Pour on top of the bread.
Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. This is done when the bread has soaked up all of the liquid and the egg has cooked (you can tell because you’ll see bits of cooked egg stuck to the bread). You can then take the lid off but leave it plugged in for about 15 min-serve! Can serve with fruit preserves or maple syrup!

Does anybody know of any tried-and-true crock-pot breakfast recipes? DD13 has a swim meet this weekend that our team is hosting. NO ONE has signed up to bring breakfast for the officials (4 day meet), because we have to be at the pool at 6am. Who wants to be cooking at 4 am? I felt bad, so I signed up thinking I could find something to throw in the crock pot. All the recipes I found on Pinterest had comments that said they weren't good- (soggy eggs or hash browns). HELP!! They specifically asked for casseroles. And it's supposed to feed 25.

Could you make something the day before, warm it up, and then stick it in the crock pot to keep it warm? I could find some recipes, but wouldn't be able to guarantee them.

Actually, that's a really good idea. Got any recipes for those?

No, really I don't. I'm not a breakfast person. How about just making scrambled eggs and sausage mixed together? That's easy. That's our big one for camping.

I'm not a breakfast person either, shich is why I didn't originally sign up for breakfast. We are new to the team, or I'd make the suggestion that we go with finger foods for breakfast. That's what our old team did.

Then just go ahead and do that! Or do they specifically say HOT BREAKFAST? Bagels with cream cheese, sweet rolls, fruit.... That works for me!

They specifically said casseroles. We did muffins, bagels with spreads, and breakfast tacos on our old team.

Let me know how the French Toast turns out!!!

Sixcloar, too bad! I would ask; you would think that if no one volunteered for breakfast, they'd be happy for whatever they could get!

I did the french toast one the other day and it was good. Not amazing but good. It could use more vanilla and cinnamon I think. I ate it but for some reason my kids were not fans. I would like it a lot better with a few , yet to be determined, adjustments. A good base though!

I have wanted to use my crock pot more often, so now that you have shared this wonderful site I need to get it gear. What is more relaxing at the end of a homeschooling day than to know that you don't have to prepare supper.

I think I got this recipe off of here originally and cannot find the exact recipe but this works:

1 lb ground beef ( cooked and drained)
    l pkg taco seasoning
    l pkg ranch dressing
    pinto beans
    black beans
    kidney beans
    northern beans
    rotel tomatoes

Put all of these in the crockpot (don't drain the beans) and let it cook as long as you want. My brood sometimes dips in it as soon as it's warm but I like to let it cook all day. The beans - use 1 or two cans depending on your taste. I like to serve it with nacho chips and shredded cheese.

I just found this blog http://www.sidetrackedsarah.com/p/freezer-to-slow-cooker.html
She has freezer to crockpot recipes. I love them! Basically it is putting all of the ingredients together so when you are ready you just put all the frozen things into the crock and turn it on.
I put together 4 of the chicken rice soup, and 1 that was my version with chicken, spagatti sauce, and some seasonings to use on pasta. I also made 2 taco soups. So in a matter of less then an hour I made 7 meals. Then on the mornings I have to run out of the house and be gone all day I just have to tear off the plastic bag and put into the crock on low. I am very excited. I would love to get more of them made up to use for "fast food" instead of using fast food.

I made the french toast, but didn't get any myself. The group I made it for ate it all, so I guess it was a hit.

I made this last night and thought I'd share it:

    Meatball Sandwiches:

1 pkg. frozen Italian style meatballs
1 pkg. dry Italian dressing mix
    1 jar spaghetti sauce
    1 can diced tomatoes
    1/2 c. parmasean cheese

Put all in the crock pot and cook on low for 4-5 hours. Scoop out the meatballs and serve on hotdog buns. Top with mozzerella cheese.

I use the leftovers sauce and meatballs with spaghetti another night.
