Even though us spouse have been woe as me and I have done it too we are still praying and sending pixie dust to our neighbors and Japanese friends north of us. I have given winter clothes (it was snowing up there) and we have sent a hundres sleeping bags from church. there is a big pile of clothes and blankets at our NEX for families. It hasn't gotten up there yet but will be by next week.

I am so very happy to see a message directly from you! Emily has been worried and wanted to know how K is doing. She had a letter ready to mail when the quake hit so I just told her to hold on to it. I didn't know if you could get mail right now or not. So glad you are doing well. Please keep us updated and know we are praying for you often. Beth and Emily

I am leaving in 24 hours. Tensions are high since they are still trying to tell us we cannot bring our pets. As of now the children and I have wristbands on and each kennel has a band as well. My housing authorizes 3 pets and two of them are free, I just pay for the other. So far I am one of the lucky few to have my 'babies' but I am not at the Yokota Air Force Base yet. I am still in Yokohama, Japan. Here is a link of some of the most recent news of military families returning to the states. At this time ALL American ships have left the ports for their own personal missions most include helping the Japanese during this time.
There are few here that have me on FB that will see our updates as we move forward on this adventure. We are still having quakes and my nerves are shot. I don't like to fly so not having my husband is making me a bit more nervous. I am still nervous about my fur babies comming with us. anyhoo here is the link and also it's already national news that all ships are out of port so it is okay to report.

It's almost over. Praying that things continue as they have been, with no bumps in the road. You're doing the right thing to return home.

You are in our prayers daily. Matthew is very concerned about his new friends in Japan. I can't imagine what it must be like for you to try to hold everything together, please let us know if we can help you in anyway when you arrive back home!

Hugs to you and the family:love:

((HUGS)) to you and your family. You all are in my thoughts and I hope your "babies" get to stay with you. Hope you have a safe trip!
My thoughts are also with your husband, being apart is hard but to know they are under these conditions are worse.
I will continue to send safe and healing thoughts your way...and some pixie dust :)

Thank you for taking the time to update us also!

Good point, Crystal, I hadn't thought of that! Praying peace covers him as you head home, that he is not anxious for you and the kids, but knows you'll be safe and better off in the States.

All three pets. Good! Where is she going now, Kris? (Where meaning to her parents' place, her in-laws, etc. I know she doesn't want the town or anything mentioned!) When does she anticipate arriving?
