Scholastic teacher store $1 sale

I really don't care particularly for Scholastic, but I have to admit there were a few things on there I was interested in! One in particular had to do with "Hamlet". I hated "Hamlet" as a kid, but saw and appreciated it as an adult. Well, there's a group that performs Shakespeare free in a park in Columbus, and all three of my kids have "been exposed" there. This spring they are joining a kids' group and doing "Hamlet". I've been debating studying it with Rachael; I think this has made my mind up for me!

I spent $22! It would've been closer to $300 if everything had been full-price!

I'm just hoping for an understanding DH when he sees what I did. :lol: He says I have too many resources already, but I don't think that's possible! LOL

 

Thanks for posting this, Usually everything is gone by the time I get there, but this year I actually found things I wanted that were still in stock.

 

Yeah I usually find out about it when everything I would want is gone as well... I spent 35 bucks on over $400 worth of stuff, and am now thinking I should have ordered a few other things that were still available... maybe I will have to go back

 

Okay, see, I want it ALL. Do they do this every year, or more than once a year? Should I pace myself? LOL - sorta.

Thanks so much for letting me know. How did you find out they were having their dollar sale? I only got 6 things, but I'm so excited for them to arrive!

 

Usually I learn about it here on this board, this time I saw it on another board I go to.

 

I am hit or miss with them.. Yet to figure out why, but once I ordered and got everything I ordered.. then the next time, they cancled my whole order and gave no reason...
So this is the third time we will see...

Has anyone got their orders?

I ordered, received the confirmation, and today got more emails, this time telling me that some items on my order were no longer available.
I am looking forward to getting the other books. What a great sale!

 

I ordered on Saturday, and spoke with them on Monday, a computer glitch had reserved the money for my order 3 times on my bank account and I was worried that it had acutally charged me 3 times, but it only charged me once.. anyway the lady was very nice and said my order was confirmed and I should recieve it soon.

 

anyone know if its too late to put in my order? I think I forgot to send it when I was loading up my cart cause I had to go out of the house to do something

 

rats, the ones I want are gone and I did not send it, waaa

 

I tried to order some books, they only take credit cards and we don't use them. I just didn't finish the order. Oh well, probably didn't need them anyway.

very cool...I was going to go to the teacher store next Wed. when we go to town for an ortho appt.
I have decided that I am making tooooooo much work for myself and that on my sleeping days we need worksheets.
So I got ten different books with worksheets. (plus they will work for Dutch too. yea)
