    I agree!

When I was in high school, we only had the bus driver on the bus and she slapped one of the girl students. Unfortunately, the school took the word of the bus driver over the word of all the students. If there had been another adult on the bus, this might not have happened or at least there would have been an adult witness.

Carl says that if they charge him, he needs to counter-sue the school for not providing adequate protection for his child.

I would of been a mama bear too. No one will get in my way when it comes to my girls. Law or no Law. In Texas they have a bus driver and bus helper at all times. Sometimes don't think that is enough. So sad.

You know i have done this before and i would do it again if i felt my child was in danger. I have definitely boarded a bus and said a few choice words to some bullies when my son was in school. So I can see where the father was coming from. You get tired of you kid coming home in tears and not wanting to go to school because of some bully. I never threatened anyone in the same way but i did tell a 6th graders who were picking on my 1st grader that if he wanted to fight, i'll call up my cousins and they can pick on them. This was after I called the school, talked to parents and the bus driver. I actually had a few of my cousins get ds off the bus for a month. They asked him which ones were bulling him and he pointed to them. They never fought or said anything to the kids at all, i wouldn't allow it. All that was needed was presence and a silent dirty look. My cousins are rough looking, they are the kinds of kids you don‘t mess with but they are very nice. Those kids on the bus ran home and we never had any more problems out if those them.

The dad was wrong and so was I but... I don't blame him at all! You are your Childs only advocate. In the PS system no one cares, all they care about is how many kids are enrolled so they can get funding. If no one else will protect them who will? Wrong or not like I said I would do it all again if I had to. Kids kill themselves over stuff like this. No one messes with my kids! and I mean NO ONE!
