Can you get them online? If not I probably could make a trip and mail them to you.. not sure it would be worth the postage though.

    Sorry to threadjack

lol.. it would be one noisy room and no conversation would ever get finished.. we all get sidetracked too much..

now about the secret boxes... what about something handmade, but I am really thinking I like the "back to school" type theme since it's that time of year :)

I think our heads would probably be spinning!! It would be a 24/7 gabfest!!

Personally, I think a back to school theme wouldn't be as fun right now because we are already shopping for those types of things!

Sommer, we posted at the same time! I could deal with the back to school because you can have fun with it. I remember one of the first boxes we did how easy it was to find semi-personal things that still tied in with school.

I have never done a "box swap" before.. on a cloth diaper board I used to frequent they did them all the time.. but for one they were too into natural parenting for me and usually they wanted to swap things that I didn't have time for... one of thier big ones was wool play food... I crochet alot, but just enough for keeping up with covers for my two little buns in dipes. But I am soooo looking forward to it.. I'm game for anything!;)

Sommer, we have had fun with these. Usually we list things that tie in with the swap ie. favorite color, decor theme, tea or coffe, that kind of thing. We usually keep it around the $10 range which you can find alot in the $1 stores. Homemade is even better.

The Valentine's one we included the kids which was fun also.

I hope you join in they are alot of fun...

I know this will be mentioned when we actually get started but a suggestion, too, is to include something from your state. I have a pair of "Texas Snowmen" courtesy of Kris! This would especially be neat coming from another country!

If you're getting this going right away, I'll opt out, cuz I won't be able to check on it and stuff.

I hope you all have fun---these are great. And Kris---You da MAN!!! Well, that didn't sound right, but thanks so much for doing this, you're an awesome organizer and person!

I am sure Kris can fill you in Deanna, but for the most part Kris is putting together a fun swap, she will have every one PM ---HER
your name, your nick name, your address etc....
and then when the theme of the swap is set then there will be a thread started to give suggestions and ideas so that your secret pal can find out what kind of colors you like and such.......

then there will be a deliver between time and every one will mail their package then a seperate thread will probably be set up for the first person that recieves her package to say thank you and tell us what you got in your surprize box!!

For christmas and valentines day we sent little somthings for each others kids as well, this is a small swap so every one can have fun with it.
