I was thinking if you want to throw something in for the kids like bubbles or chalk that is up to the person and what they want to too.
Have you decided when to kick this one off? I'd love to participate again, but may have to opt out, because of moving. I'll have to see exactly when the move will happen!
well I was thinking the first week in August I wanted to see how many was willing to do it, if it was worth doing it? So, if you want to do it, please let me know and then we will pick a theme. I am shooting to hand out names the beginning of August.

Kris I'd like to play too. I'm just now seeing this because I was at church camp all last week. I didn't get to do the Christmas or Valentine one. Let me know the theme and I will check with dh to see if we have the funds. I am paying for a lot right now. A back to school swap would be neat.
Tiffany, that is the one I am getting the most request for the BACK to School box.. we are not going to do it till the second week in August...
I'm not sure how back to school would be for "us" the moms, I love including the other persons kids I just think its fun to get something personal. or even like the family related idea of a recipe, the kids can help put things together, or make the recipe.
Amy, that sounds like a wonderful idea. I am taking all ideas and going to put them up here in a week or so and then we will vote and see how it goes... right now I have 7 ladies who pm'd me and waiting to do it.. sounds like it will be alot of fun...
bumping it up to see if some of you wonderful ladies can throw some ideas out here of what kind of box we want to do. So far these are the ideas I have: School ( things to get you and your kids ready for school) recipe a favorite recipe send it with the items to make it, no eggs, milk, meat, just dry items) pamper mom ( lotion, bubble baths, tea, candles to relax mom after a hard day of doing school) need more ideas, keep them coming ladies...
Favorite color: send things in your pals favorite color (socks, pens, post it notes, beads or charms-- or other hoby related items, dish towel, coffee cup, high lighters, hair accessories, lotions, etc...) stationarry stuff: note pads, stickers, fancy pen, writing paper with matching envelopes, blank cards. craft or hobby starter: patterns, yarn, fabric, accessories, find out what kind of specialty your pal has and find some stuff to go with it. Picnic or BBQ: paper plates, napkins, cups, bbq skewers, seasonings, rubs, sauces, basting brushes, tongs, pot holders, marinades, etc..... for a picnic or bbq. Frazzled day kit: finger nail file, clear finger nail polish for the snag in the "hose", emergency chocolate, energy bar, calming tea, aroma therapy, relaxing cd, Mama's magic fix it kit(glue stick, duct tape, band-aid, magic marker,scotch tape etc...) Toast and Jam and tea: home made or local jams and jellies, preserves, apple butter, muffin or bread mix, herbal teas, or hot cocoa, rusian tea mix. Family night: playing cards, game, dice, score cards, movie, popcorn, snacks, Teach me something new: make something for your pal and include most of the stuff she needs and the instructions for making it her self ( dip mix, painted something, magnet, sun catcher, wind chime, book marker, etc...) * ideas are just suggestions, let your mind go wild!
