My DD fits the same description & also wants to be a vet. lol! I recently discovered that she is a visual spatial learner. If you're not familiar with this phrase, (as I wasn't), all it means is that my daughter is right brain dominant. My older DD left brain dominant, which means that my teaching techniques are very different for the two of them. Do a search on visual spatial learners. If this fits your DD description, this info should help you to understand her a little better. It has helped me so very much. Because of this, I view her education totally different than before. I'm so excited. I figured out yesterday how to create assignments on SOS and add lessons a second time to the assignment list. I assigned computer time for math, spelling, etc. games. Also, created assignment for the review game at the end of each unit.
