I had to laugh at the idea of me at 74 pounds. I am 5' 8". I would be a toothpick! I need to lose at least another 30 pounds to be close to a normal BMI. I am getting there.

Oh, we pick about 20 lbs. of strawberries in June! I make strawberry bread and freezer jam. And yeah, it gets to you, but SO worth it!!!

We have a strwberry farm about 2 or 3 miles from our house. We pick every summer. I have never made jam or jellie but I need to try this summer. My kids love picking, but not all will eat them lol. (picky bunch)

It is the EASIEST thing to make Freezer Jam! Add sugar and the pectin and mix. Add your mashed strawberries (I do mine with a Pampered Chef Food Chopper). Then you put them in jars and freeze. That's it!

Yeah, Beth, that 74 pounds is a winner! Congratulations! Now, to just stay away from Jackie's freezer strawberry jam!

Be sure to buy pectin that specifically says "For Freezer Jam" on the envelope! You don't have to cook it; there's another kind that you have to cook.
