It is fun! It's also fun to find out the smaller things about places. I mean geez....I couldn't imagine living in a town where we didn't lock our doors and the UPS guy delivered to our car while we were out shopping. wow! Thanks for letting us be a part of it!!!!
whoa.. It hasn't been here yet! When we had a second vehicle the mailman or the UPS guy would leave packages in our car if we weren't home! We rarely lock our doors!
lol.. well she rubs in how neat it is.. then has the nerve to say she's gonna keep it over a week! I'm sitting here at the bottom of the list and have to wait even longer because someone wants to endulge in their family life. (I'm just joking by the way.. don't anyone take this wrong!)
I can see both sides of this: On one hand it's such fun to have it, and work on it. Plus it IS the Holiday Season, and hard to get it out the week of Thanksgiving! On the other hand, when you haven't gotten it yet, it drives you crazy having to wait for it to go through everyone else before you get it! Ahhhh, but Sommer, look on the bright side: I got it first, so I didn't get to see much of anything anyone put in it. YOU, on the other hand, get to see everyone's stuff before you send it across the big water (that is if you're the last on the list)! That would be VERY interesting! :lol: :love:
Deena, I think there is one more after me! Maybe we should send it back to you before it goes sailing so you can see it all! I don't mind waiting actually.. it IS the holidays and life gets very busy here!!
We have to get Karen's approval on that one.. but I bet she would go with it.. I know she is dying to have it back home.. but since you were the honored first then it probably won't be a problem.
Logistically, the first 3 or 4 people may want to see it, and that could become a problem. So, I don't want to be a problem! We'd have to see who would want it again, and how long it would take, etc., so it may not work out, and that would be fine! I will abide by Karen's wishes!

Karen I got the pm. The girls answered the questions this afternoon and tonight I am getting dh to print the pictures out. We are leaving for the holidays so it will probably still be Saturday before it goes out.

Wait a minute! So if this is scanned into something and posted online that means our childrens personal information will be online. Names, ages, locations. It is one thing to circulate it around like it is but another to be posted on the world wide web. I don't want my kids information posted online.
Yes we are still mapping. we have all the poscards we recieved during the postcard exchange around the map like a border now! It is currently at number 12 - there are 21 on the list. But a few people have dropped out, and others keep joining, so it's hard to say how far through we are really. It could be quite some time again before we see it, lol.
