Nope. And we still don't have a long-term plan. Let's assume the Prevacid totally fixes him: I don't know if he'll need to be on it forever, a lower dose forever, or just until he's better. But that's because we still don't know why it's working.
OH! Yes. Sorry. He hasn't thrown up again since Monday. I'll call the doctor tomorrow with another update and wait for a call back to see what the plan is. He's still dealing with dizziness, which I've been assured is just his electrolyte levels stabilizing (which has been the case for 3 weeks). But other than that he's symptom-free.
Hold him in your arms and dip his head down so he's sorta upside down. He should feel pretty dizzy. Keep him there for about 30 seconds, and then let him up for 30 seconds. Do this twice a day for 3 or 4 days. A really good physical therapist friend of mine did that for Pat's dizziness, and it worked wonders!! It has something to do with crystals in the inner ear, and so on.
Nope. They said it's just his electrolyte levels stabilizing. Said it can take several weeks. This is what led us to the ER the second time (the time that resulted in him being admitted). He was so dizzy in church he was freaking out scared. They said it was his levels crashing and until they were all fixed, he'd deal with the dizziness.
Praying for you guys as you come to mind. Amie, be strong when I'm sure it is anything but easy to do
