Nobody has heard from her yet? I hope she can find a computer and let us know how she is. I am praying for their safety.

I checked, but didn't see anything. But that doesn't mean anything. If she's somewhere safe and has contacted her family, there would be no need to post on one of those boards. I might post an inquiry on the board and asking her to get in touch with us here to let us know she's OK. There were some other sites, so I will check them out later, too. It was unbelievable, reading through all the lists of who was safe and where, and all the people looking for information on loved ones they've not yet heard from. Very heart breaking. One man had a wife who had just had surgery. She was evacuated, but no one could tell him where to!
I've been looking through those boards too looking for her name - I haven't found her name yet BUT there are so many boards to go through I suspect it will take some time. I also sent an email to her the other night in the event she's able to get to a computer. I added her name to an inquiry list on the Gulf Coast news site. We need to really pray for her... having not heard from her gives me a sense of unease, but her priority would be her family first and so it's understandable.

OK! I have the determination of a pit bull (but I'm not as mean as one - well, not usually). I've been sifting through posts by Vicky looking for some hint as to where she was from. She doesn't give specific city or town locations... I did see deeeeeeeep south MS as I looked further, I saw a post reffering to the MSU - in Mississippi State. I don't know whether that's where she lives or not, just another hint (although it doesn't look too deep south - but that's on a map too). I looked at a map and see that it is North East of Jackson MS... Her husband is a teacher (she was too, but gave it up to be home with her children). I'll keep looking...
Ok Ladies I have another question I have been doing alot of research looking for Vicki and I found 105 of her last name in MS does anyone know her hubby's first name I think I would be calling forever looking for them if I had to call all 105 if you don't want to post is first name PLEASE send it to me. Thanks !
All I did was people search on yahoo. There was alot of there last name and nothing with his first name that came up. But, even if we do find them we couldn't get a hold of them as there are no phone lines open. Does anyone know the city they live in that might help too. I did e mail Amanda and ask her if she could help us but haven't heard anything from her yet. When I did another search for his first and last name it came up but was unlisted address and phone number. Guess all we can do is hope and pray they are all safe. I was hoping I could find a family member that might have heard from them. But, really don't know where to begin.
I'm not really any closer to finding Vicky, but each time that I go to that webpage and put in her name, I see more people with the same last name from MS who are listing themselves as alive... that's a good thing. They are saying that MS didn't get hit as hard as other places did but just the same, there's still reason for concern.
I just wanted to say that I really appreciate you ladies who are persistently trying to find Vicky. Your efforts will be rewarded some day! Thanks!
Brenda and all the wonderful ladies here who have been helping me try and find Vicky. I told you ladies I was writing to Amanda to see if she could help, I did a e mail from her today and she said that we have all the information she does. Except she said she had dial up net work in AL. the cities she name were I hope I don't get in trouble naming them here are Hungtington and Birmingham AL. that's her dial up provider. I went to the web page and couldn't find anything of her there yet. But, I do now AL. didn't get hit as hard so hopefully she is ok and with some other family members. I am going to keep looking till I find her.
Won't she be surprised when she comes back and sees how hard we've tried to find her to make sure she is ok...
