I REALLY need to start eating good breakfasts! I am so drained and tired by the afternoon, and I think it's because I don't eat well at all until DH comes home and I make dinner - and then I eat too much. Having said that, I haven't eaten anything yet. Guess I need to get off of this chair and make something, huh?
I had a healthy bowl of stars and marshmellows cereal. OK, it wasn't so healthy, but I usually don't eat anything.
I had a bowl of corn flakes with sliced banana. One child had fruit loops One child had from-scratch oatmeal Two children had pb and j During the school week, I tend to gravitate toward easy breakfasts, so we can get going on our school day.
I forgot to say that yesterday I surprized the kids with homemade waffles, strawberries and whipcream on them. I also made hot chocolate. :lol: Its just cereal today.
breakfast? Huh? You guys get to eat BREAKFAST! NO FAIR!!! Just kidding. I can't really eat before a bout 10:00 a.m. BUT if I do, I usually toast a gluten free waffle and spread either PB or cream cheese on it. SOMETIMES I make extra when I make hubby's breakfast and try to sit with him. My FAVORITE breakfast is Jacked up Grits with a fried egg on it! MMMM.. (jacked up grits are grits with jalapeno jack cheese and scallions melted into them after they're cooked."
