What did you have for Breakfast today?

Nellie, since I'm not a southerner (other than at heart), I don't mind the stigma of using quick-cooking grits! LOL .

I don't use Instant, though- those are the kind that you cook like instant oatmeal by pouring boiling water over them. Usually still crunchy.

MMMMM...I LOVE GRITS. Think I'm going to have to make myself some for lunch now. LOL

 

I could post some recipes.

 

I had a glass of water, too, along with my hot flash pills - it's tough when you get old.

I never eat breakfast unless I cook oatmeal for the kids. I love oatmeal with sliced bananas!

This morning I had coffee and vicodin with a slice of toast. I only ate the toast because I had to take a pain pill. Yum. Not.

 

I love oatmeal too with bananas!!

I also like bananas with Cherrios, no milk of course I just dip the banana in the Cherrios and eat! YUM~

You guys inspired me yesterday! LOL!

After I got home from gymnastics with my eldest, I made myself cheesy onion grits with fried egg on top! Hubby was SOOOOO jealous. I may have it for lunch today, too. SO GOOD!

This morning we had scrambled eggs, bacon, and sweet rolls with coffee. Yum!!!
My niece stayed the week with me and I took her home at 6:30 this morning. My sister had breakfast ready for us when we arrived.
