WELL! Speaking of bras...the other day I decided to measure to get my "real" measurement. HA! HA! According to my measurements they don't make a bra for me. I would be something like a ZZ (you know going in the backwards direction). I always knew I was "petite" in that department but not that petite! How sad.
Missy, you sound like me! I'm guessing that Missy and I would be happy for some of the rest of ya'll to share some of your extra with us!!!
I wish I could take some off. I would gladly share. 36DDD here. It is very hard to find a bra too. At least $30 or more for each one.
Hmmm... A bra that actually fits sounds good. Years ago, I ended up making myself several--that was the way to go. Isn't this a "one-size-fits-all" kind of world? Yeah, right. Anyway, what I would really, really, really like for a gift? A new Bible with a leather cover and a zippered "jacket" thingy to keep it nice. Oh, and it would have some pockets for pens and a few papers, and handles so it could go anywhere with me and not get ruined. Dream come true!
thanks, me too Oh I've ALWAYS wanted a roomba.. (I saw they have a new one now that mops too!) Are roombas as good as they are made out to be? I look at the pics and think how quick it must need emptying... My house is all tile so I use a swiffer wet jet for mopping but I don't have a sweeper one. Yeah about the bras I have a 40 DD and what I want to know is who told them that women with bigger breasts don't like colorful bras??? I mean there seems to be some rule that if you have a d or larger you MUST wear White Beige or black. Who's stupid idea was that?
Exactly, I want a bra that isn't white, the larger ones, are so plain! I always tell my mom I would share what she can;t spare on top  (if I could). --Im not sharing my size But I would love to invent one, a bra with removable cold packs!--If I knew how to sew one, I would, and If I knew how to make a cold pack I would, It gets hot here and I think that would keep me cooler.
N4Life, Walmart has some of those very Bible carriers. I got mine there. It has Noah's ark on the front in a tapestry style. I really like it! AND, it's not that expensive. Oh my, I REALLY wish you guys could share with those of us who came up short in that category!
Ummmmm... If we're talking about bra's... ones where the straps won't keep falling down would be nice... You mean to tell me you only have one bathroom... oh my Lord! (Heidi... time to reccomend her for Extreme Makeover Home Edition)
LOL Kris I had to laugh when I read your no bra day! Since I have had the baby and been nursing I never have a no bra day or night!! I would love one!
I can appreciate the bra and underwear. The spa would be nice. Between my bad hip and my Mr. Wonderful's bad back I am getting him a weekend in a jaccuzzi suite. Works for me, cause that is what I want too.
Don't feel bad Jenpooh,When I was 15, I had none. Didn't think I was going to get any. Sara was helping me try on a gown.My Mr. Wonderful and I are renewing our vows. I was having a little trouble getting them to fit. Sara made a comment about being too well endowed. I said" are you kidding!!! This is be careful about what you ask for cause you just might get it. I prayed for theese puppies. I am not going to wish them away." As far as a no bra day, Sounds good to me.
During the winter, I often have "no bra days", but that may change with Rachael "coming of age". I need to set a good example, sigh...... Do y'all have the same problem that I do...the stupid straps won't stay up on my RIGHT shoulder. No matter what kind I buy, no matter how tight/loose it is, the right should always falls down. GRRRRRRR!! OK. Dreaming big, "whatever" I want....a Carribean cruise with no kids. Oh, but I'd want a hot tub IN my room  !!! More realistic... A day at the spa (again, babysitting included) gift certificate for a nice restaurant, the bubble bath (but only if I was guaranteed time to use it), tickets to see River Dance, the maid sounds REALLY good..... Even more realistic...my favorite Pampered Chef stone broke the other day. It was sitting on the stove and Rachael turned on the wrong burner . A friend is having a party, but Carl says we don't have the money. I know he's already bought me a present. I told him that he might ask my mom or his if either one of them has bought me a present yet...(Mom even goes to church with the gal having the party!) This is the one stone I use more than any other, at least one time a week. I'd also like one of those stones that come with a bread basket. You wrap it in a cloth, stick it in the microwave, and then use it to keep your bread warm. My most memorable present.... It came from Faythe, when she was about 4. Carl took the kids out shopping, and came home shaking his head. I was warned that Faythe's present would be a REAL surprise. He tried to steer her to something else, but once she saw it, her mind was made up! It was a pair of RUBBER GLOVES!!! When I opened them, her little face lit all up, and she explained, "THEY'RE JUST WHAT YOU NEED TO WASH DISHES!!!"
Jackie~ Our Home & Garden stones are cheaper and made at the same place (or so I'm told). Let me know if you need me to hook you up with one! Brenda~ Yes, Crystal needs Extreme Makeover! Of course, I don't have tv, so I don't get to watch that show, but know I would love it (cause I love all those home-makeover type shows!) I am getting to go away tomorrow with one of my good friends~ she is paying for me and another of her friends and herself to see a Christmas show~ then she got a hotel and we're going to shop on Monday. It will be nice to get away. My mom is keeping the girls overnight~ then Monday they are getting dropped off at Brian's workplace~ and doing their schoolwork there. So, I'm getting the free-babysitting/day away thing, and I didn't even wish for it, and I don't even have to pay! LOL Anyway, if I could wish for anything, it would be to adopt another baby. It is heavy on my heart right now, but the money isn't here with which to do it.
Heidi, I just got off the phone with Mom. She had been asking about books for the kids, and I found them today. Rachael wants the "Adventures in Odyssey Passages" books, I want to try the "Sisters in Time" series for Faythe, and Dover has a set of the "Old Mother West Wind" books for Phillip. Then Mom asked what *I* wanted, so I told her about Rachael busting my favorite stone, and that she could order one through Carol..... Carl and I did get to go away this past week. My parents took the kids Monday morning, and brought them back Wednesday. Carl took a personal day on Tuesday. Right after work, we went to Cherry Valley Lodge. It's WONDERFUL!!! I took Rachael there when we had our "Mother-Daughter Retreat"...just the two of us. I told Carl then that if we ever found the money to go away, that's where I wanted to go. The only down side was that Mom brought the kids home sooner than I thought she would. I wanted to get some cleaning done, but she had them home before lunch. Well, I'm sure not going to complain, LOL!
