Is it possible to go just the one time over a weekend? Just to see him in person for a day or two? I don't mean go every week, just once, for short enough that you aren't worn out and it doesn't take his toll on him, but enough to show how much you love him. Is it possible for you in your situation? It might be easier for everyone involved and your husband would find it a more reasonable want. Going for months to a place where you were nearly driven to suicide, in an emotionally and physically taxing condition, is not something I'd want for any of my loved ones.

I am hoping you can find the best way through this time in your life. Listen to what you feel God tells you and think on it.
