There is something that my dd doesn't tollorate in prepared food, I can't quite figure it out, I was wondering if it was MSG, but it seams to be tomatoes, or something in some pizza sauce,. when we get Pizza from some take out places she always throws up, when I make it at home she doesn't but I've stopped giving her spaghetti sauce on her spaghetti (butter instead) because some times she would get sick and some times not, and also those hot pockets with the ham and cheese. so It could aslo be dairy (I am lactose intolorant) but she drinks milk fine. (when she puts a ton of chocolate syrup in of course). And she eats string cheese for a snack. --so thats what got me to think its MSG because I think that some pizza places put MSG in a sauce to preserve it, and the hotpockets may have it, and I don't know about some genaric label tomato sauces.... if any one can make me think of some other things it could be that would be helpful.

I doubt it's MSG. There's MSG in almost EVERYTHING packaged, and if it were that, she'd be reacting to more than just tomato sauce products. Or at least, I would think so!

might be all the acid in the sauce my little dd's does the same thing if she has to much of it. The doctor told us it was the acid from the sauce.

    Taco In A Pan

Brown 1 pound of hamburger beef in a skillet and drain. Mix in skillet along with 2 cups uncooked minute rice (I use brown rice...better texture and more flavorful), 2 cups water, and a packet of taco seasoning. Bring to boil. Top with 2 cups shredded cheese (I use a 4-cheese mexican blend) while boiling and cover for 10-15 minutes. Top with shredded lettuce and chopped tomatoes and some sour cream. I use tortilla or corn chips to dip into it with. Or you can fold the mixture in taco shells too. Enjoy!

You're welcome! Glad you like it.

If you all must know, I was not the genius who came up with it. I actually got it from a Kraft Foods Magazine I get in the mail. It's actually free and you can sign up to get the issues. It's called Kraft Food and Family. They have wonderul recipes, like the Taco In A Pan one. I'm sure you can log onto the kraft website and look for how to sign up for the magazine. Again...it's FREE!

Sounds very good! My kids are not big on rice, but I am. They are "forced" to eat it every now and then, so maybe this would be a good way to get it in them....

Do you have Costco or Sam's Club? That's where I got it before. Otherwise you search the Internet for the recipe and make it yourself I guess! :) It's definitely worth it if you like mango and stuff!

    Strawberries

does any one have a good recipe using strawberries? I am getting my recipe swap packets ready for this month and I printed out the cutest strawberry recipe card.

Here is one I might use if any of you can try it let me know please :p
    Strawberry Whip
2 C. cool whip extra creamy (or regular)
1 basket fresh strawberries (I think frozen will work too)
    1 C. milk
    1/4 C. sugar
    6 ice cubes
Clean and hull strawberries. Put everything into blender and blend until creamy.

We have a Schwans! Someone on our block gets things from them all the time. I like their breakfast pizzas. I have eaten their stuff, but have never ordered from them.

Same Club has these AWESOME stuffed paprika chicken breasts that have creme brie and cheeses in them. Oh they are so good!

the strawberry thing is a drink I think like the one you get at Orange Julius, but I dont have strawberries right now so I can't try it but I need to get my five recipes for the swap I do.

We ordered from schwans once, they have a certian egg roll that was really good. The drivers drive a little fast up our street.
