Leslie... You probably hit the hammer on the nail there with this gal. I've known her for 34 years and she has always been insecure. I am sure that is the real deal and not that she is trying to be mean. I am super sensitive lately so that is probably the reason I reacted the way I did. Thanks for helping me to see another side to the story.
Teacher Mom... I am sorry you had some rude comments here before. I think this is the appropriate place to brag on our kids. We all homeschool here and he know our kids don't always get the recognition that they might in another school setting. I think we should come here to share good things as well as our problems. I don't feel comfortable though just walking up to someone at a store and bragging about all the wonderful things we've done homeschooling (unless they are asking). So, I will keep coming here to share even if some people don't like it, lol!

Deena I can relate to this with relatives and some friends too, but I have come to expect it now hehe. Some people just need to feel they are better than you are, than we are to feel good about themselves, we have the Lord and know who we are in Christ so that kind of helps in situations like that... at least once we remember it hehe. It works for me anyway. :lol:
