I agree Ava. I had to go do some searching, a scripture came to mind and I finally found it.
II Peter 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
Really, that whole chapter is very good. I know it's speaking of unbelievers but I think that verse applies to all of us sometimes. We get so caught up in day to day life and assume, without meaning to, that things will always go on as they have before. But, if we're ready or not, one day Jesus will come back.
