The show I had the privilege of helping with is supposedly on this coming Sunday. All the rumors here say this Sunday, January 15th (and if not, it would be the 22nd). THere are 3 (maybe 4) possible places that I could be on, even a little bit. 1) I was sweeping upstairs in the house when the project coordinator (really nice guy!) came running out of a room with the bullhorn Ty usually uses. He was yelling, like Ty does, and came right past me yelling a question (I forget what the question was :roll: ), and I yelled YEAH! back, and the cameraman swung around to me for a couple of seconds. 2) Still inside the house, Paul and Preston were showing a relative around while we were still working in there, and I was working right up where they went by. 3) I spent hours sweeping the front walkway as people went in and out of the house for various things. It was to keep dirt and sand from being tracked back into the house. When they took the furniture in, They went by me many times---possible I am in the background somewhere. The 4th possibility is when they called all of the volunteers in to witness the handing over of teh keys of the house to Ty. But I was just one in a throng of people, and back a ways, so who knows. They could've bumped me out of all those shots and that's okay. I had a great time helping there! But just in case, those are times when it was a possibility...... The show is in Port Orchard, Washington. The house they did were people that are my denomination and used to go to our church! Their house is about 25-30 minutes from where I live Just thought I'd let you know in case you are interested.
Oh Deena that is so sweet of you hope we get to see you. I will watch it next week end and let you know if we see you. Next Sunday is the 15th is that what you mean this Sunday is the 8th.

NOOOO, I meant the 15th. I didn't count today cuz it's almost over! So, "this Sunday coming up" means the 15th! Sorry! But if you watch it tonight, you could probably see the previews for next week, then we'll know for sure.

I saw a pic:lol: ..... but all the helpers have white hard hats and blue shirts. I bet she'll be the sweetest one with long brown hair and glasses.
I guess that's how you can tell---I'm kind of tall with long hair and glasses. But everyone who volunteered HAD to wear the hard hats and the blue shirts. In fact, that's what the ones in charge called us, "The Blue Shirts". I don't know how to send pictures to be an avatar, but I could send one to e-mail addresses if anyone wanted me to.
Update! I watched the Extreme Makeover show last night, and the one they advertised for next Sunday, the 15th IS the one I helped with! It's going to be soooo interesting to see what all they show and don't show. They had cameras all over and filmed at least a hundred hours worth of stuff, I'm sure. Glad I'm not an editor, I'd have too hard of a time editing stuff out! So remember to watch the Extreme Makeover: Home Edition on Sunday, January 15 at 8 p.m.!
Oh, another way you can tell it's me is if I'm sweeping. I spent probably 30 hours sweeping different places. Who knew they'd need people to sweep that much?!!! So if you see someone that seems to match my description above, AND they have a broom in their hands, it's probably me!
By the way, if ever they are in your area, I recommend you find out how to volunteer and try it! It's such a neat experience being involved with something so positive for others! You have to be 18 to volunteer (so I barely made the cut-off age-wise---YEAH, RIGHT!!!) :roll: , otherwise my kids would've been there helping also! But it makes sense not to have a bunch of kids running around! Anyway, it's someting completely different, and feels right to help others like that!
