Hsing is not an easy job, especially if you are not organized. I'm exactly like that. I always feel a day late and a dollar short. I've also been praying about what to do for next year. You know how your kids are doing, Leslie. I know you'll choose what's best for them. You're a good mom.
awww, thanks, Becky. That was nice to hear. I will let you all know as soon as I find out if we have been accepted or not. The lottery begins at 9am. Thanks for the prayers!
Remembering you in prayer this morning. Either way it goes--it will be FINE! You obviously are trying make the very best decisions possible for your children. I'll be waiting to hear!!
I hope you hear something.. I will try to get on here sometime this afternoon so I can hear... Don't think I can wait till I get back on.. I wish you all the luck in the world.. Leslie.. thanks so much for the information I got it in my pm you are so sweet. Hang in there. You and only you know what is best for your family.. I know you will do the right thing for them.
Yes, I'm very interested in hearing how it goes! We're here for support either way! We've been praying!
Ditto! This was the first thread I checked this morning to see if you'd heard any news. I may not always have the time to consistently contribute, but know that I lurk and pray! *LOL* That just sounds weird, doesn't it? The second year IS hard. But not just for homeschooling...why do you think they call that part of toddler-hood "the terrible two's"? Hang in there, and like someone else said earlier, either way it goes, it will all work out fine.
OH, I KNOW!!! I honestly believe that the Terrible Twos come from children who know what they wanted to communicate and simply are not able to yet. They are frustrated when no one can understand their reasonable wants, and acting out is the only way they have to deal with their frustration. If you can somehow break through that communication barrier, the behavior improves dramatically!
That's so true Jackie! My dd learned the signing, so she COULD communicate what she wanted. It was GREAT! She never had tantrums, no, not one! That was a tremendous blessing!
Well, I haven't heard anything yet. But I do have a peace about it and am trusting God whichever way we go. Thanks for your prayers...I know that is part of why I am not feeling anxious today! I'll be back as soon as I know anything!
Deena, Jeannie never threw tantrums either, that I can remember. She's always been laid back. I have to say her worst behavior comes out when she's getting sick. That last batch of school unrest came right before she was diagnosed with a sinus infection. I missed any signs she might have given to show she was sick.
oh no I have to wait till I come back.. darn it... I was hoping to hear something Any way Leslie... I will be thinking of you honey and I hope and pray it works for your family...
