cindy (10) is being a princess for halloween and christopher (9) is being a ninja turtle..i'm dressing as a skeleton because it was one of the few cheap adult costumes i could find :lol: 1. my stepmother, who lives in germany, just called.. she's in canada, in the next province over, at her relatives, and is coming to visit tomorrow ----------- 2. ---- which means i need to clean my house!!! 3. ---- i need to clean the house!!! did i mention that?
I too need to clean.. 1. I just found my MIA memory cards for my camera.. yay! 2. My kids are on a Disney movie spree.. they just watched "Meet the Robinsons" and "Cars" 3. I have a goal for myself to scan all my pics that are pre digital, and load all of them plus all my digitals onto a site so they are always there in the event that a housefire or something happens and we lose all the hard copies.
you can help me do my pictures too that would be great. .. 1. I had a wonderful quiet birthday today 2. the weather is just wonderful cool at night and nice during the day, my kind of weather. 3. my mil is counting the days down to go home to her apartment...
I hope she gets to go home soon! But I promise she isn't as miserable as she is letting on where she is at! 1. Hubby just brought home pumpkin ice cream.. ewwww some things just shouldn't be made into ice cream! 2. We are going to do a fire lapbook.. we started it a while ago, but got sidetracked 3. I think I'm heading for a bubble bath!

lol... maybe you should have someone hide your computer.. that's what I need done! 1. My dd has found a whistle and is driving me crazy with it. 2. I have changed my plans on the youngests costume.. he is still being a patient but instead of using a pillow case for his hospital gown, I'm going to use an old crib sheet we no longer use. 2. The kids are so excited about trick or treating tomarrow!
I change my mind a lot, and I sometimes need someone to hide my computer too so I can get things done! 1. I burned my mouth on my boiling tea water! 2. I still have to come up with what stories to tell for the harvest fest... I need non scary ones! Bible stories... that fit the harvest and kids at the same time! Wee! 3. I am so tired today.. I want to go back to bed.
I change my mind a lot, too. 1. School is in full swing today. 2. I have a one day seminar to teach on Saturday. 3. The frost was on the pumpkins again today.
I have a session to teach at an Encounter Retreat This weekend, I have the last one on Saturday Night! 1. I am excited for the weekend, 2. Ds10 invited two friends over on Friday when I wont be home! (dh said he could and hes in charge!) 3. Today we start 1 Kings in "A Walk in the Word" Bible study series!
cindy has been such a lovely helper this morning - she did a bit of her work and then wanted to help me clean... that child cleaned the whole living room all herself and it looks awesome 1. she did a better job with the living room than i did with the kitchen, argh LOL 2. stepmother should be here in about 1/2 to 1 hour... 3. we have a very peculiar relationship...and i know she thinks that both attending church (she and my father are atheists) and homeschooling are really "weird" things to do... but oh well. we're us, this is our life and we like it.
1. Dh and I stayed up late last night. Till 1am I think it was. 2. We all got up at 10am this morning! 3. The daughter of a very very good friend of mine is getting married this weekend. She just called me to talk about it all. I can't wait to see them this weekend!
The last time I stayed up that late I think I was in high school.. lol.. ok so not really. 1. I made a freezer pizza for lunch 2. Ds (the oldest!) dropped his on the floor! 3. We are going to paint jack-o-mellons tonight.. we decided to forgo the pumpkins this year and use some of the small watermellons that are still in our garden!
jack-o-melons? cool! you'll have to take some pics and show us, if you can! 1. i'm shocked. s/m actually had some positive things to say about hs'ing. 2. i'm still shocked over #1 3. but we'll never have the same beliefs about how the world happened. ah well, can't win 'em all. :lol:
Believe me I know you cannot win them all....no one can! 1. I am very unmotivated today. 2. I think I will relax and watch a movie tonight. 3. I am going to make beef stew for dinner tomorrow night.
i'm rather unmotivated at the moment too... it's 7:30am and i've just poured my coffee...waiting for the caffeine to kick in. 1. i was up a bit too late last night, yapping with my best friend (the guy gone out west) on msn.. 2. *yawn* 3. oh well, it was lovely to get a chance to yap :mrgreen:
I'm having a hard time getting motivated too.. I have sooo much to do! 1. Last night I decided to use some wild colored spiker hair gel and spike my hair today... my hair is LONG, and I don't know how this will turn out! 2. I dread trying to wash this spiker gel out of my hair once I get it in.. it is the stuff the freaks use..lol 3. We didn't get our jack-o-mellons painted last night.. we will do it this morning!
i used to do that sort of thing to my hair on normal days years ago :lol: 1. i'm really curious to hear how the melons turn out! 2. i just finished eating a yummy tomato sandwich for breakfast..i looooooove tomatoes! 3. i have to help cindy clean her fishtank out shortly (she has a goldfish in it, named "spiffy" )
I would love to see pictures of the jack o melons too. 1. I have fun Halloween plans for the girls today. 2. Our church is having Trunk or Treat tonight. 3. I can't wait to see all the kids in costumes.
"trunk" or treat? what's the "trunk" part? *curious* 1. Spiffy now has a freshly cleaned tank and a new plant to swim around. 2. Cindy's concentration is...well ... isn't! today LOL ..she's too excited about tonight LOL 3. i'm trying to find batteries for our flashlight so i can put it inside the jack-o'-lantern (we don't use candles) this evening.
