I just told my dh at dinner that it was a boring day. 1. Elijah is working on the Community Journal. 2. Dh is watching football - Texas and Nebraska, 28 - 17. 3. It has been cold and dreary today.
It has been cold and wet here all day too 1. I'm SO tired it isn't funny 2. One more day to work until I have one day off (woopee) 3. I'm putting my decorations up next week (outside lights that is)
Our outside lights have been up since last November ... shhhh...lol. 1. The little ones are fighting going to bed 2. A valve went bad in our bathroom plumbing and our shower is dead until tomarrow morning when we can get the new part put in. 3. I have been a super grouch this evening
i want to get lights up here too - we do all the windows in the house ('course, they aren't huge - they're little strings of indoor lights.. but still!) 1. it's my little guy's birthday today - christopher is 9 2. we're not having a big party because we can't really afford it and it would be overwhelming for him anyway - we're having a family supper (pizza & cake, presents) and two extra people whom christopher knows really well are coming 3. cindy and i decided that rather than continuing to rush, and be late for, the 9am service at church, we would go ahead and change to the 11am one... we simply can never get anywhere on time if it's early. despite being early birds! :lol:
Happy Birthday Christopher! We never have parties either because we are always in the poor house..lol 1. I just email "talked" to my friend I mentioned in another thread.. we hadn't heard from each other in probably 20 years! 2. My oldest is in a horrible mood once again! 3. There are more toys under my sofa than there are in most toy stores!
1. I'm celebrating my own birthday by wearing my new massaging slippers (I love my Dh, but what quirky gifts he gets ) 2. I'm very thankful for the time change. I got to sleep in and still have time to piddle online and give the boys a bath before church. 3. I'm wondering if I have any clean shirts for church. hmmmm.
yep.. no time change till next weekend! 1. My shower is fixed and has more pressure than ever! 2. I have to grocery shop but don't want to even make a menu. 3. Hubby convinced me to go out for dinner today.
Amie, I hope you have a good time wearing your Birthday slippers, I'm sure somewhere in the world you can buy a book that tells husbands what is a good gift for birthdays and what isn't. (LOL-- I've had to train mine on a few). 1) I just talked to my friend in Maine for over an hour!!! (almost 2). 2) Iam eating the new cherieeos made with fruit juice. 3) my kids played musical chairs yesterday at a party and I realized they had never played musical chairs before. Donald wanted to sit in one chair while the others went around....... I had to tell him he couldn't sit down yet.

1. I'm glad that DH decided we weren't going to church after all. Since we would have been an hour late (both of our computers auto changed this morning and DH insisted that weatherchannel.com concurred... until I made him actually read the article and found they were talking about next week. lol). 2. I woke up from a nap with a really sore neck. Does that happen to anyone else when they sleep on a pillow that isn't their normal one? 3. DH is getting the boys in the tub so we can go to MIL's for cake
when you mentioned the time change, i just thought maybe the states changed before we did :lol: 1. Christopher had a lovely birthday supper and liked his presents (i'm way in love with the outfit that my friend gave him - wide leg jeans, a cool t-shirt, and this awesome sweater vest thing with a hood) 2. i'm waiting for the little girl i babysit (before/after school, she's in PS) to arrive... 3. cindy & i are going bowling or swimming this afternoon..not sure which one yet...
I had to check on the time change too yesterday cause I was used to changing it then! 1. I have a busy week ahead! 2. I want to enjoy writing work today so kids better work hard on school work and not mess around! 3. I love homeschooling!

I can't get it through Garrett's head what it means to write a report and use complete sentences. 2. Hubby is working over time tonight.. like he doesn't work enough overtime! 3. We are having baked chicken breast and chicken rice for dinner tonight.
Dd wants to make a costume for Wed harvest fest. She wants to be a theater floor.. has been saving candy wrappers and everything! Lol! YUCK! 1. I cant get it through dds head what it means to write a page paper! grrr! I think she knows just doesnt want to do it so is playing dumb.. really a tough one for her! Lol 2. I plan to make soup for dinner, 3. We had a new Winco Foods open and the produce department is HUMONGULSOUSLY COLLOSAL! Lol I know I spelled new words there! ITS REALLY BIG!
LOL.. I love that costume idea!!! 1. We are going to invite a boy from ds's scout group to go trick or treating with us. 2. I want to go to bed already! 3. My kids will be a dr, a nurse and a patient for Halloween (the youngest will be using a pillowcase as a hospital gown..lol)
my ds may dress up this year as a Crayon. Green and it included the hat, I made it like 14 years ago! I have one that is the REd Crayon too! Ds16 and I wore them one year when our pastor made us wear them to church Lol it was a bazzar thing let me tell you! 1. I need to make something to go with my story for the harvest festival_ I am the story lady at the story tent! 2. My kids like me to do this cause they get to play longer and for free they get food! Wee! 3. Half of me just wants to stay home!
LOL, my kids are 2 nurses, 1 doctor and I told the other one to be a patient (but he wants to be darth vader). 1) I've gutted 2 pumpkins and have 2 left. 2)I'll carve the easy ones, DH will do the hard ones (using patterns) 3) Sammie has a cold.
