We won't have our jack o mellons lit! (or carved lol) 1. I now have to scrub down 99% of my kitchen! 2. My kids don't know how to paint a face! 3. The first jack-o-lanterns were made from turnips.. could you imagine carving a turnip?
i wouldn't mind carving a turnip as long as i got to cook and eat the innards -- i love turnip 1. it's chilly here today -- a few snowflakes actually fell for a couple minutes yesterday, but they didn't stay.... 2. i'm hoping for more -- i love snow! 3. i hope someone has candy apples tonight... so i can snag some ..yum! :lol:

hmm, when i picture "story lady", i get an image in my head of a woman wearing a long very colourful skirt, a white poofy sleeved blouse, lots of big bangle bracelets, colourful beads, and a bright scarf (like bandana) on her head... kinda like this except with lots of bangles and beads and with some other colour for where the flowered pattern is... i don't like the flowered material.....and sandals or something flat, not heels... 1. i'm being a skeleton later -- i have a one piece outfit with a half-mask thing that has hair... 2. you're in california right? doesn't it snow there in some mountain areas or something? (i've never been there) 3. the last two winters here really sucked.. only 1/2 the snow we usually get...i'm hoping this one is more like it's supposed to be!
I have that outfit! Ha! no really I have stuff for that in my room,thanks I was thinking arund the same thing... but I don't want to ruin my good skirt so will go with jeans... maybe a western story lady? 1. it actually has snowed at our home before, for a few minutes, but its too warm in the earth here to stick, 2. It snows in the mountains and we get to see it... at a distance! 3. I am tired of not getting to do things because they cost money to do them.
I decided to forgo the spiker gel! I decided it wasn't worth the nightmare to get it out of my hair! I am going to be a puppy instead! Hubby has noooo clue I'm dressing up at all! 1. We are taking one of Garrett's friends trick or treating with us tonight! 2. It will take an hour to upload all the pics I took! 20 of them! 3. I made cut out cookie dough to make cookies today, but don't know if I will get them done! I even bought cute halloween shape cutters
TeacherMom ---> i think a story lady sure can wear jeans! *nod* -- and oh i understand the forgoing things for lack of money... dh works fulltime, but he only makes $10/hour now and there's four of us...i babysit part time, but i only get $3/hour for that...so "we can't afford it" gets said a lot here.... crazymama ----> you could still even make the cookies tomorrow or something if you run out of time...cookies, no matter what shape they are, always taste good any day! 1. my cats seem to sense that something is 'up' today...they're all acting weird... 2. poor meowers all have to be closed in the bedrooms upstairs for a while tonight, so they don't try to run out the door when it's opened to trick-or-treaters... 3. i've all but given up on schoolwork today -- cindy just can't stay focused on anything LOL
I was a story lady once. I put baby powder on my hair (to make me look old) and then had a shawl and a skirt on. I even sat in a rocking chair. Sorta like a grandma. 1. Sunny today, but cold this morning. 2. Awana tonight 3. Gianna is still a little congested.
Olivia is congested and Aaron just started coughing. 1. Dh just left for work so we are just about to start school. 2. I bought new make up!!! Woohoo! I got a whole bunch of Clinque. I have not bought make up I liked in about a year or more. lol. 3. For the first time in over a week I have a messy house. UGH...so off my game.

I celebrated a wedding anniversary today! Sigh, 1. My dh is sooo romantic! 2. I had a fantabulous day 3. kids had the day light from school dh called it a teacher in service day so he could take me on an anniversary surprise day!
My dh has romantic moments but that isn't his overall personality. lol. 1. I made banana choc chip pancakes this morning. (I added some flax seed and whole wheat flour...lol..) 2. Today is an easy school day for us. Friday is more of a fun day...that is after the tests. 3. I love the falling leaves!!! Just beautiful!
I love the leaves too! My neighbors at my old house used to rake them all up.. so I felt I had to too! I love to see them on the ground and walk through them too! 1.
