Oh...I was so excited that I forgot to say what I got! LOL I got some lovely ornaments for my christmas tree (I love them!) and a couple of dish towels for my kitchen , some yummy flavored tea, and each of my kids got their own goody bag with different kinds of candy, a picture frame ornament for the tree, and a little craft that my secret pals kids made! This made my day!
I don't know if I should say who it was from yet....I don't want to ruin anything for anyone else! What do you guys think?
hehe, I LOVE IT! I was thinking the same thing, hmm maybe one person can say who thiers was from then, a couple days can go by... what do you think? I did get mine off before park day today. Mine was kind of heavy so it was mailed media mail. I had so much fun doing this. I love reading the new posts!
that was a good idea media mail! Mine went out normal mail I think, hubby said it woudl be okay , so it will take 6 days to get to my pal... so pals out there look for one on thursday or friday hehehe, you may get one from me! Giggle! ooooops did I give a clue?
There must be something drastically wrong with all of us, & we must all have the same "bug!" This is just too much fun to be "normal!"
I am not sure how mine was mailed. I just told the guy I wanted to mail a package and he weighed it and that was pretty much it. Maybe I was in a line for a certain kind of package or something. I will have to look next time I go in and see if there is a sign or something. I hope mine went a pretty fast way. I can't wait to hear that is has been received! Beth
Sometimes the day they say it will arrive is later than the day it comes too! I know we have sent gifts to Wa from Ca and they say a week to ten days, and it arrives sometimes three days later! So you never know?
It seems like you gals are catching the "bug"!! You are seeing why I love these swaps so much!! I just got my name for the other swap I'm doing for Christmas too. The top of my dresser is starting to look like the bottom of a christmas tree.
Daughter and I suggested one for our Sonflower Girls troup. We are going to have the girls all swap names and then have a dress up Christmas party for them in December to exchange their gifts.
Sabrina that is a goood idea! ( extra o on purpose) We, dd and I , were discussing starting one at our church... it could be really big or really small... but since we are now having her at the church's school with me she will be in a group of peers and I will ask the Teacher that I am assisting with jr/sr high if they do that for thier class.... could be fun!
