Jackie, don't worry, when you get into that predicament, call Amy and me. We'll get you out of it. Remember the cop at the state park.
I thought that *I* got *YOU* out of trouble!!! If it hadn't been for me, your dear husband would have had to come all the way across the state to post bail!!!
You all are hilarious! While I was reading this i kept thinking- okay, so we're old enough to vote, drive a car, be responsible for the welfare of our children, etc. but we absolutely CANNOT be trusted to purchase a calendar which may be dangerous (still trying to figure that one out)? The only thing funnier is trying to imagine how someone could possibly have injured himself with the calendar...hmm...yea, I've got nothing. It reminds me of the warning label on strollers "Do not attempt to fold stroller while child is in it." Really? LOL!
This thread reminded me of a time I had moved and not changed where I did my banking, so my bank was 30 or more miles away and not in the same city. I went to the grocery store and the checkout lady didn't take my check automatically, but went to the service desk and then came back and took it and gave me my receipt. I went on my way. Well, a few seconds later a VERY angry lady came up to me and said she wasn't supposed to take my check and I couldn't take the groceries until she called my bank. I said she could call my bank. I was embarrassed and mad. She called them, they told her I had the funds and I went on my way with my groceries. This is what I should have said: I am glad I have the funds for the groceries. I would like a refund please, so I can spend my money somewhere else.
