Thank you ladies!! I know that if God closes this door He has better things for us. It just seemed that that door was swinging wide open for a few days. I would much rather them say no on the front end than to go through the whole interview process and then get a no. I really appreciate your prayers!
I pray that things will resolve soon and that you'll be able to concentrate on life in the meantime. That's difficult!
Not yet. I called to check on him earlier this morning, and he said he was a nervous wreck. Both times the guy from SA called, it was after lunch, so maybe soon.... I'm praying, too. Dh told me that he would be extremely disappointed if this job didn't work out. I'm not there to be any comfort to him, if it doesn't work out, so I'm really hoping for good news.
Oh darn, I was hoping to see an answer as I was scrolling through the pages! I hope he gets it!!! I know how anxious you both must feel!
Arg! I hate playing the waiting game. I think people do that on purpose just to get our panties in a bunch. Grr!
I texted my dh to see if he had heard from SA. This is his reply: "Yes, said he would call on Monday with more info. Very positive." I'm not really sure what that means. I guess there was no definite answer yet. I'll get more information when he calls me later tonight. Again, thanks for all your prayers!!
Okay this doesn't even affect me and I'm having a meltdown here waiting on your news!!!!! My fingers are crossed!
Dh just called with more info: He told the man he had a few more questions such as where we would be required to live, whether cars or a travel allowance are provided, etc. The guy said from the questions he was asking, he could tell dh was really interested in the job, and he was pleased to hear that. He told dh that he'd get back to him later today or Monday with more information. Hopefully that means interview information. Dh does not expect the call until Mon. So more waiting... You gals are making me laugh being nervous along with me! Does anyone have fingernails left? I really appreciate the prayers and concern.
Ohhh.. I can only imagine how nervous you are - I've been praying and checking in here all day hoping for news. At least your dh heard something and it all sounds really positive! It really would have been hard to wait all weekend for ANY communication!
