Just a thought Jackie, but what about doing the trip in spring instead of summer. That way Lorna can come and we wont hit the big crowds because school would still be going on????????
I can't in the spring. I'm stuck with Carl's school schedule. If that would work better for y'all, then go ahead and work it out. I'd still be going in the summer, but I understand and wouldn't feel at all offended if it were better for you guys.
Oh Jackie if we go it will be summer too. So, keep me on your list ok. I don't want to go spring. I heard that was very crowd. But, then again I think it will be crowd in any time you go. BUT, Jackie keep me in the summer with you all.
Whatever works for most I am fine with. It was just a thought. I wasnt thinking of Carl's schedule. I know for most places once school lets out for the year everything is more crowded. Summer is just fine!!

OK, Ladies! I'm pasting what I received today! Who is still interested? My cousin started hs'ing this year, and has expressed an interest in joining us, too. We are now making group reservations for the King Tut exhibit in 2007. We have received your confirmation but in order to complete your reservation we need the group level of the people that are included in your reservation. For groups that are of high school age and below, simply include all of the grades represented in your group. For all other groups, based on the MAJORITY of the people in your group, enter ADULT, SENIOR, or COLLEGE. If this is a tour company, please include the name of the group you are bringing as well as the grade level. Please reply in the following format: Full name of Organization- Full name of Contact Person- Grade Level- Please feel free to include any comments, concerns or questions along with your reply. Thank you. Group Sales SOOOOOO.....who is still interested? I stil don't know anything as far as cost, etc. yet. I think they just want a firmer count as far as numbers and ages. So please let me know how many and ages. If you're new and looking at this for the first time, we're talking about getting a group to go to Philadelphia next summer to see the King Tut exhibit. We're hoping to get a group rate. It's not too late to be included if you want. We're talking about sometime in July.
Jackie, Because of my trip to Africa, and because my dh's mom is coming here to stay with the kids while I'm gone, I don't think we're going to MD this summer after all. Which means it's possible we would go NEXT summer which would work to meet up with ya'll for the King Tut thing! How cool would THAT be?!! They ARE talking about going in the Fall, but I'll bring up the King Tut thing and see what they want to do. I mean, after all, it's not like you can just do this any old time! Plus we'd get to meet you all!!! When would we be going (month/day), any idea?
OK, Deena! I tried looking through to see if I posted the exact dates, but didn't. Sorry! They had asked for four possible dates. I'm pretty sure I picked July 16, 17, 23 and 24. Fourth of July is on a Wednesday; I wanted to avoid Philly the week before and after that. Also, someone felt that Wednesdays were usually a heavy day with tour groups, etc. You know that if you come, you'll have to bring Chinook with you!
Okay, if we come, you remind me and I will be happy to bring Chinook along! He'd love to see you all again! Wonder if they'd let us take him inside the King Tut exhibit?!

I will let Heidi know. There will be 7 of mine coming. Ages then will be 15, 13, 11, 12, 10, 8, 1. My SIL is coming, she has 3. Ages will be 14, 14, 11.
