Well, let's see them. We were able to see it! I guess the time I had read was not correct. If I had waiting until 10:30 we would have missed the total eclipse. Right before 9:00 p.m. it began. I let the kids stay up until 10:00 to see the total eclipse. It was so cool. I loved the orangy-reddish color. At 10:00 the kids went to bed. FL was a great area to be viewing from. The skies had been cloudy all day so I was afraid we would not see it, but right before 9:00 they cleared up. I didn't take any pics though, I would love to see any that someone may have.
That's how we did it, Ange! We never got beyond looking out of our mudroom door. Phillip wouldn't even do that; he went upstairs to his sisters' bedroom window!
Smart kid. As the moon got higher, we had to actually leave the front door to see it, and my 3 year old demanded to be carried out each time I went out, LOL.
We had light rain yesterday but then the wind picked up and blew all the clouds away!!!! Woo Hoo! We were able to see the whole thing, clear as a bell. We were so thrilled.
It was 8 degrees out, Elijah kept going out, take a pic. and then run back in. I watched from a window. Way too cold for me.
