I've tried that, Amie, but it still doesn't do like I want! I don't have a Foreman Grill, but I DO have an electric griddle! That was also one of my best investments! It makes perfect grilled cheeses! Also pancakes, French Toast, bacon and sausage!
I have a generic George Foreman grill. I love it. It makes great grilled cheese sanwhiches. I have horrible knives that squish, too!
now I got a george forman grill for christmas and I dislike mine why is that... I know I am strange but I don't seem to care for mine a bit..
Ok, back to the point of the thread...lol. I have cleaned out two drawers so far. And I didn't think I'd be able to ditch anything since I've gone through my whole kitchen twice in the last three months. Just goes to show that you can always get rid of more. Anyhow, I'll hit the two tool drawers tomorrow. I think I can condense down to one and put the rest in the garage without DH getting too upset.
Jackie, I love my electric griddle too. I am on my 3rd one and ready to buy number 4. Of course, that has been in the last 35 years. I use mine to fry bacon on, too.
Mission #2 Lets start the week out simple. Your mission is to clear off anything you may have piled ontop of your printer and or go through your jar of pens and pencils and get rid of the ones that don't work or are too stuby. (if you do not have either of those things to do....... your too organized!) What do you pick up first from the "pen jar" what do you like to use most when writing a list or helping the kids with school?
I bought some Pampered Chef ball point pens from a vender to give to my new recruits. I usually hate ball point pens, but these work wonderfully! That's what I reach for first. I especially love my pinks one. It makes me feel girly (which is nice since I live with 4 males). My pen cup is cleaned out already, but not because I'm organized. It's because I'm so disorganized that I have no idea where all of my pens and pencils are...lol.
Have you been peeking at my house Amy? How did you know about all the papers piled up on my printer? My pens and pencils are organized though. I cleaned them out when I got our school things together.
Unless you have a top feeding printer, Its an easy place to just "rest" things, I cleaned most of our off the other day at my DH's request when he needed to use the computer table. And the pen and pencil jar is over flowing because I found a few handfulls of pencils and pens under DD"s bed saturday when cleaning under it.
Our printer is on a top shelf, so it's too high to set things on. But there WAS dust on it, so I cleaned that off! And dh just organized the pens and pencils (he's a great organizer, unlike me!), so I don't need to do that. I think I will take the 3-drawer challenge now, after all!
Pens and pencils, here we come! I did the silverware drawer, the pot-holder/rubber-glove/misc. drawer and the oven drawer last week. I threw out the oven grill, which I have never used. Thanks, Amy!
Our printer is clean, its an all in one printer so I don't usually put things on top of it. But the pens and pencils need to be done. So I'm adding it to my todo this.
GUESS WHAT!!! Rachael had soccer practice today, so I went to a garage sale just up the road. This lady is a PC consultant who is getting out of the business. She is also moving, so her DH told her she could NOT take ANYTHING into the new house that she didn't use, lol. So you know the stone that has four mini-loaf pans? I GOT IT FOR $10!!! Plus I got the flexible lids that fit the rectangular baker and the round baker. She said she had other stuff in her basement that wasn't out. I told her I what I REALLY needed was a square baker. She's pretty sure she has one, and sell it to me for $12. She's going to call when she finds it. Anyway, it all totals less than the cost of ONE of the stones! I walked in and announced, "GUESS HOW MUCH MONEY I'VE SAVED!!!" Carl, no fool, asked, "I'd rather you tell me how much you SPENT!" But when you add the savings of s/h and taxes, it's an even better deal!!! So now I have to REALLY try to get the cherry quick bread made, lol!
One of the best things about being a consultant is that I get nearly all of my personal use product for free
