LOL, my husband looked in our homeschool room last night and asked if there was any chance of it being cleaned any time soon. I told him I do plan on working on it this week. We just finished last year on Friday and I need a little break as bad as the kids do. Wait, I think I need it more

NOrthernmama I LOVE YOUR SITE!Blog and all that~! I also am interested in your little robotic guy! CUTE Little set up! I love the whole way you have areas, thats what we did back in the day. We had different areas in the family room set up , science area, etc. and Jennifer I love yours too! I may get mine finished for my JR higher 's school room set up this week and will try and post it then.
Thank you both. The little robotic 'cockroach' was pretty simple to put together using two small motors for propulsion so no programming was needed. Which is good because we haven't started that yet lol. Lots for Mom to learn too I never thought I would be learning so much teaching my kids about things they love. It's so great to learn along with them.
Okay... I took pictures of our schoolroom and am realizing we should probably put something on the walls. The only thing we have up there right now is the CSPAN presidents poster. What do you all think we should put on our walls?
Here is our whole school-room. We use most of the basement and have a TV area, a school-room area, and the science area.
We love the cspan pres poster! Ours will go up again next year when we do US history for the third time! Lol! so far I have the universe and them some poster, and two maps of the world, ds did a bulletin board so we will be adding things to that he had fun decorating it! I will post my schedule that I got off the overloaded thread I started on that to keep me on track and the rest of the family knowing what I am up to! I have one more poster to put up and a desk to get organised then we can take pics too! yeah!
Ya know what - I think I got it from like Home Depot or something. It was a big warehouse store. I have had that poster the WHOLE 8 years I have been homeschooling! It's been through 3 houses!

Ok COmom.. what for Chem kit do you have set up there???? Please don't tell me you picked and chose every one of those bottles. I'm drooling and chem was sooooo not my thing...lol.
I know what you mean Sommer! ME TOO! I am not a chem person but she has it so set up! Makes me want to throw our my family rooms furniture and start over! HA!
Wow I am totally drooling!! I love these classrooms and set ups! Our classroom is in my bedroom right now since we have limited space. I will get pics up as soon as the rest of my stuff gets in and I set it up!
I was a bio nut.. even though I somehow aced chem... it was way over my head in school..lol. But man the fun I errrrr Garrett could have with all those science toys :twisted:
