I know I should not complain since others have much more snow than we do, but I have not seen one side of my front yard since we got home from Georgia with Bobby before Christmas. I live in NC and we hardly ever have this much snow or keep it around for so long. I am so sick of it. I want warm weather and I will not complain that it is too hot! Our house sits so that the sun doesn't hit one side of the front as much as the other side. It looks like two totally different yards from the street. One side grassy and one side totally covered in snow. Come on Spring! please?.... Just needed to vent. Sigh.....
I move from Louisiana last year to ND so I expected snow I like snow but as for you southern belles I just want to say whatever happened to global warming
i wanted snow too;till I got it. I'm a lifelong Texas girl so I was like a little kid when it first started. after I mopped 12 times in 2 days and ran out of dry mittens and couldn't get my car out of the driveway, I was done!
Today was the first time in almost 4 weeks I have been able to drive to town on completely snow-free dry blacktop!!! It was a thrill!!! Marty
I am ready for spring too!!! We have about 4.5 inches and it is still snowing. I expect more by morning. We usually don't get as much snow as we have this year. Oh well the girls will love to go sledding!!
I grew up in PA....snow is not a new concept to me. Living here in this area of NC, we see snow maybe once every other year. Funny was that when the second snow storm of the year happened, my son was still in the house... I asked him why he wasn't out playing in the snow? He said "It's cold, it's wet, it's nasty! I got my fill of snow last time." Does that make him a real southern boy?
Oh I think he is a total southern boy with that attitude toward the white stuff. I know how he feels. Today it is suppose to be in the high 50s and maybe hit 60s tomorrow! I just heard that we could get more snow on Wed. NOOOOOOO!!!!!
Well we ended up with 9" of snow. That is the most we have gotten at one time in years!! We live in the valley and we usually don't get much especially compared to the mountains around us. Fun snow day for the kids!!!!
We have SUN!!! I didn't think Ohio knew where to find sun at, but low and behold God knew that we needed it. We still have piles of snow every where and next week we have, yep, SNOW.
We are all tired of it... my road closing..... not being able to PLAN my shopping.....freezing pipes, freezing animals.... no thank you - it was pretty.... not please take it away...
Nope Nope Nope!~I am climbing into my bubble of denile and not believing that..... Today is to be in the 60's!! All my bulbs are coming up and if I look closely, I can see all the buds on the trees!!!
It was beautiful here yesterday but I didn't get to be outside to enjoy it as much as I had hoped. Rainy today and hopefully just rain again on Wed. Cooler this week than yesterday but yesterday seemed like a promise of Spring. I can't wait!
I still see ugly snow. It's no longer white, just plain ugly. More snow coming, nothing big, just a few flurries. I want to see the little shoots of flowers and the buds on the trees.
We are supposed to get about an inch of snow tomorrow. That is an inch too much for me. Sigh... Come on Spring!
I want to know when that global warming is going to get here, still waiting. Oh, I forgot, around July/August
