Jackie, he was wrote up because he was driving too fast in the parking lot, or so they said. Looking at the video that they tape of the parking lot area, he was not. When that had originally happened, they would not let him drive the trucks, therefore, he could not plow or salt for snow. He was thinking of retiring and being done with it, but he did want to work 2 1/2 more years. After about a month of meetings with city council, law director, administrator, and mayor, it was finally decided that they would not write him up or give him time off, just give him driving lessons from his boss. He has 32 years of service and now they are going to give him driving lessons??? Oh well, now he is allowed to drive the salt trucks and they are treating him very well. That's how things go with government jobs. He is out working tonight, too!
Dh came home last night around midnight. We haven't seen any snow fall today. We are praying none will. Tomorrow is March 1st - in like a lion out like a lamb or in like a lamb out like a lion - which will it be???
Glad you were spared any extra snow. I think the saying goes both ways. I heard a weather man say if it comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb we will have a hot summer. We will see how that works out.
We have a nice day today. It is kind of sunny, but no snow. Looks like it came in like a lamb. Yes!!!
