On a couple of different posts there have been references to everyone's ages. So I'm curious. How old (or young as the case may be) are you?

    I am 42. :D

I remember John Travolta as a new, young star on Welcome Back, Kotter. I watched Johnny Depp on 21 Jump Street. Rod Stewart was singing Hot Legs. We always watched Happy Days and Laverne & Shirley. But most of all, my sister, my cousin, and I all swooned (yes, actually swooned!) over the Bay City Rollers. :D

40 in December  ! I believe I was nearing 10 the first time I saw the Bay City Rollers (swoon !). My family was moving and my sister and I watched them on the tv in a hotel room. I think it was the Tony Orlando and Dawn show they were on...... forgive my menopausal memory ...

*btw I still remember all of the BCRs names !*

Settlers~ Are those some of your son's creations? Very good work!

    As for me, I'm 35.
Did the Bay City Rollers sing SA-TUR-DAY Night? I remember hearing that song alot at the public pool in the 70's!

I was a big Donnie & Marie fan, along with Shawn Cassidy and the Bee Gees.
I loved The Little House on the Prairie, Happy Days, Laverne & Shirley, and the Waltons. They don't make good shows like those anymore!

Derek Longmuir ( my favorite- those shoulders!!)
    Alan Longmuir
    Les McKeown(SP?)
    Woody Wood
    Eric Faulkner

    Am I right?

Yes, you are right! :D Those were the original band members.

How did I forget the Waltons & Little House? :? My mom sewed prairie dresses for us complete with aprons & bonnets. We wore them to school even! :D

So far, it seems like I'm the oldest one here. :p

I'm grossed out, though. I googled Derek's name just now and he's a total pervert. He was caught with a computer full of child porn, the creep.

Those guys really aged badly, too, unless it's a Scottish thing. Ick!

I turned 30 in March. I was in love with Bobby Brown, Ralph Macchio (Karate Kid), Sean Astin (who now will forever be etched in my memory as Samwise Gamgee :D ), Kirk Cameron--who I look up to now more than I did as a kid cuz he is on fire for my Lord!--uh, let's see, who else???....I liked Micheal Jackson before the surgeries and oxygen treatments  .....Bo Duke (Luke didn't do much for me  ).....

We watched The Incredible Hulk, Dukes of Hazzard, Manimal, and the Greatest American Hero as kids.....wow! This is a cool thread! 8) ......

OH, YEAH! Music!....I'll tell you what was popular, but I didn't like any of them much--New Kids on the Block, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Mariah Carey (the first time around), Janet Jackson, Madonna....well, I liked Janet and Madona, but that was before they lost their following and turned to...uh...flesh to sell their stuff....

That's ok...it looks like Brooke is the "baby" of the group now
Hey! I was told that my back problems were age related (by Worker's Compensation months ago  )! Does that mean all of you have the same problems too (I sure hope not).

I remember being fascinated by Michael Jackson in grade three (boy did I learn a lot) and then Boy George, Cyndi Lauper, WHAM...

Okay I feel old now. Does any of you all remember Dragon Net, The Jeffersons, Archie Bunker, Maude. These are shows I grew up with. The music was KC & the Sunshine band & groups like that. I listened to a lot of country growing up. Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty, Merle Hagard, Johnny Cash. Barabra Mandrell, I was country when country wasn't cool. Tanya Tucker and Glenn Campbell. Does anyone remember the song Delta Dawn. Okay I have showed my age enough. I admit I am older than Sesame Street.
