Sneaky Mama - I totally agree with what you've said about we grow and learn by hearing others opinions. I really enjoy hearing what others think about this issue, despite how Dh and I feel.
Wow, first I have to agree with Jackie.. I feel we all have control over it in one way or another.. I feel that is why God invented bc was for us not to have more children then what we can afford and handle.. I think it's up to each family to decide how many kids they can afford and love... but, I have one other thing to say I grew up in a large family and the love wasn't there. they didn't have time to for that they were to busy working and keeping us dress and feed.. and then it was hard for them.. when they had time they want to rest they didn't want children by them.. so, I don't feel large families are for everyone...
I'm sorry that was your experience. I don't think that is what my own children would say--but I only have 5. But I do have to say that God did not invent birth control!
It makes me so sad to hear about a large family or ANY size family that has no love, no time for their children. I am sorry that was your experience Kris. I am sure you know not all large families are like that.
yes, I do know all families aren't like that and I made every effort to make sure my family isn't like that.. my girls are so love I think they stink... LOL
