Really TMom? Cool! My dd is sooooo looking forward to more snow! She'll be happy to hear that! Oh, btw, it hasn't hit us yet, but is expected to sometime tonight. So who knows what will happen?!
I heard the thunderstorm and snow prediction, but at first they said it was going to start this afternoon, then they said tonight. So we're not sure what's going to happen when! DD is sooo excited! When I told her what you said, TMom, she started dancing around! :lol:
how fun! We had a lot of fun up in the snow at Burney on New Years so I can relate! I miss living in the snow.
You know, Prairie, you could just turn her loose on this thread, and say "HERE!!! Read this!!! Can I do anything like that here?", lol!
Hello everyone! I just got back from town, & our very kind librarian had not heard of anything like this but was very willing to give me the system name & info: Southwest Kansas Library System, internet site: http://www.swkls.org/. It specifically says that no patrons may use this service! So I don't know if you can help me or not, TMom. I feel very indebted to you that you'd even be willing to. (In fact, Jackie, I had thought of that, too, but she told me right away that she didn't know.)
That's sad that it can't be used by patrons! Sheesh, how rude! Seriously, I wonder if there's a way to work on that and get in changed, based on the success of other states and counties that have great systems?! BTW, TMom, we only got a dusting--1/2 an inch tops! And NO thunder, and hardly any wind! We MAY get more snow this afternoon/evening though. We'll see.
